Valley Beautiful Antique Mall is a nice shop and a treasure trove located in the town of Erwin. It is filled with many different items, offering a fine selection of vintage glassware, pottery, and other glassware pieces, with a particular focus on Erwin area pottery and especially Blue Ridge dinnerware. There is a large selection of rare and unusual pieces to look at, and visitors never leave empty handed. The gentleman owner of the shop is very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and courteous. He has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the pottery and what is in his store, and he is willing to help in locating desired pieces and to work with customers on pricing. While there might be a sticker shock, most of the prices are negotiable. It is advisable to call ahead to make sure the shop is open due to the owner's schedule. For those traveling a long distance, it is suggested to touch base beforehand. The experience is fantastic, and it is a permanent stop for many when visiting Erwin.

Lot of unique dishes and such. But extremely cluttered up and not really an antique mall.

Ever since discovering Valley Beautiful my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Joey has a wealth of knowledge that he shares. Fine selection of blue ridge but also other glass pieces, never short of things to look at. All you have to do is ask him and he can tell you all about it.
