Can't write a full review because it was winter and the wagon rides don't n't start until spring. The store is more of a consignment store. The lady behind the counter was glad to share all the information about the community and directed us to the Amish Store. There's a map available that shows one how to connect with various artisans.

Really enjoyed our visit. The store has a variety of antiques and homemade goodies. A great resource for local craftsmen.

Cheap as a day out and fills a good morning. However, whilst our tour guide was polite and knowledgeable. We went out of our way to request that Jimmy was not our tour guide. However and I am trying to be polite but whilst I was waiting for the tour to start I learned more about the Amish from Google than what I was told on the tour.We stopped at about 4-5 houses pretty much to buy their home made goods. I do not begrudge the local community from earning out of the tourists, but add some more substance to the tour to break up the onslaught of selling.Other than that, it was a very enjoyable experience. Please note: I have very limited pictures of the tour as taking pictures was banned.

Definitely worth the price for the Buggy Tour. We had such a great time. Beautiful scenery and loved getting to see the Amish heritage!

Loved it! Ignore the negative reviews. The tour guide was just stating facts. Had a Karen leave cause she got offended and walked back to the welcome center because her kid cried lol it was awesome

Pretty cool shop here. Lots of stuff kind of like an antique market. Didn't really seem like a friendly type place but I wasn't there to for the staff. It would have been nice to checkout without the two employees constantly complaining about other customers. Cool story bro... You told a customer not to take pictures and he got upset and now you need to hold up the line to complain and gossip about it with your coworker...move on with life or get a life wither way the canned good were pretty good. Get a map and go see the actual farms.

We drove three hours to go on this adventure. The tour guy was very rude and only said negative things about how we live versus the Amish and saying we were lazy.He got upset when I tried to take a picture of a building with no one present near it, stating no pictures.Do yourself a favor. Skip the buggy ride and drive it yourself. It's much more enjoyable especially as the wagon was in poor condition and having to hear all the negative remarks about how we live as a society was a big turn off.We definitely won't be returning and the Amish items are very overpriced. Near Cleveland TN they are half the price and the settlement is a lot better

I have gone to take the tour from them twice in two years. All the Amish products I have bought have been outstanding! Some of the best pies I have ever had in my life! The reason I rated it so low was because of our tour guide. The first time I went we had the best guide, and he was amazing! He knew what he was talking about, and made the over all experience more enjoyable. The second guide was far from enjoyable. He was negative the entire time, and acted like everyone who wasn’t Amish were terrible people (he wasn’t Amish either). He talked about how great it was to be Amish and that they had no disabilities or adopted children from other countries in their community. Keep in mind my two adopted brothers from China with obvious disabilities were sitting right beside him.

This was my first time stopping in the Welcome Center. They have all kinds of cool stuff at reasonable prices. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stop in again.

Thought about booking a wagon tour, however, after reading multiple reviews about one guides negative opinions, think I'll pass. Why aren't those very negative reviews addressed more seriously? Yes, there are two sides to every story, but so many folks are practically writing the same unhappy reviews. For some unknown reason, this particular guide is still being permitted to ruin trips people are both anxious to experience and have paid good money to do so.
