“Alex and Shreen hands down the best customer service I have received at this store.... I'm a daily customer and this to some people may seem minut but I was in there tonight getting groceries and I didn't have enough for these microwavable bowls and Alex came and patiently took care of the situation and the cashier Shreen who was at the other register hands him a $10 dollar bill and I thought it was for change for another customer it wasn't She paid for my bowls I know that's sems small but to me that means the world to me there still is people that genuinely care and I thank you for that so if I could I'd rate this review for that Dollar General a 20 thank you so much!!!”

“This is simply a regular Family Dollar Store in town,near home that we go to on a almost daily basis. It's a clean store, with friendly staff, quick service,and great prices. Some are not so friendly sometimes but in my opinion everyone has just some of those days.”
“I like all the current employees at this dollar tree they've all been nice and helpful to me when I've visited this location and I think it's a dirty shame that it's probably a minimum per hour paying job and like that isn't bad enough the owner operators can't even supply AC in this heat and humidity for their employees”
“I was in this store on May 27th, 2026. I have never been in a Dollar Tree as clean, tidy, and organized as this one. And I have been in plenty of them. As I walked through the store, I was so amazed at the effort everyone who works there made to keep it looking so great! The employees were so nice and helpful and the manager is super nice and he is so proud of his employees for the job they are doing! If you haven't been there in a while, go back for a visit. You will be so glad you did! Keep up the good work!”
“Great store, good location in South Dayton TN. Everytime I have been here I have always been able to easily find whatever I was needing and if I needed assistance in any way, the associates were always very much grateful to help me with whatever I needed and the prices are very much competitive with the other stores in town and the store always looked nice and clean. I will definitely be back in the future and I will definitely recommend them to anyone and give this family dollar store Five Stars. ?????”
“The dollar store was well organized but the cashier was not to nice she was going to charge me the full price I told her I got it out of the cart was 50 percent off and she was rude”

“I stopped in at this particular store for the first time today. First, a big Thank You to all employees working to serve us in this pandemic. I had to leave before I could make a purchase, but must say wow! I've never seen a Dollar General Store so well organized and so clean! Shopping aisles were clear of clutter, which makes it safer and more convenient for shoppers. I'm in the area often and plan to stop in when I'm in Graysville. I give them five stars across the board.☺”

“I have been going to the Dollar General in Athens for about 2 months now. Every time I go in there the young guy follows me around the store. I guess he thinks I am stealing. Or he wants a date !!!! I have kids older than he is. I am probably good 40 years older than him. But I wonder what this boy would do if he actually did see someone stealing? He can’t put his hands on a customer, and he only weighs 150 lbs . I don’t think Athens City is going to come tires smoking or guns blazing over dollar store merchandise. I wonder if he has thought bout that? A store wrongly accuses a customer of Theft, that’s one heck of a liability. And it’s so annoying getting followed, every time I turn the corner, he’s there. Not very good at being a loss prevention dude. Those cats at Walmart could teach him a few things. They r the pros”
“Very impressed with this location now! I heard from a few from church that they have a new store Manager and that the store is completely turned around so I was skeptical and had to see for myself and I'm glad I did very clean tons of room not overcrowded with stock like a year ago when I was there last store manager was very helpful and very polite made me feel like I was appreciated for shopping there even helped me find what I was looking for if you have had a bad experience here before give it another try you won't be disappointed!!”

“Got a great little heating pad..It even stays on ...The ones we kept finding turned off by themselves after 20 minutes...Awesome deal...The only downfall is it could have been a little wider....But it is reaching from kidney to kidney for me so it's working great..”
