My kids attended the camp with "A Soldiers Child" Foundation and had an absolutely amazing time.
The volunteers were amazing and made my kids feel at home.
When they first arrived, my daughter was teary with me, leaving, and when I came to pick them up, she didn't want to come home yet. Haha.
My kids lost their dad last year, so everything is fresh and new. It's been a really hard year on our family for a few reasons, and this camp really allowed them to heal and be with other Gold Star kids, which made the experience more intimate.
There were also no judgments, as we practice the teachings of Buddhism. This was a judgment free zone, and they even accommodated our dietary lifestyle.
It is truly a beautiful place with beautiful people. They accepted us with open arms and even a shoulder to cry on.
The camp is awesome. The buildings look newer. The girls had their own building and the boys had another. Each building had its own full bathroom.
The property is beautiful as well. Next time my kids attend, we'll bring tick repellent because my son had 2 attached to him when he picked him up. Lol
They took them horseback riding, kayaking, etc... they had a blast!
We'll be back for sure!

My 14 yr old daughter attended the 3 week girl session at Camp Marymount for the first time summer of 2024. Upon picking her up she asked could she attend the 5 week session summer 2025! I cannot thank Camp Marymount enough for their love and support for my daughter to obtain the independent life skills needed to become a successful adult! God bless Camp Marymount!!

This camp is the absolute best camp that has ever existed. All the activities, focusing around God. The saddest night all year is on the last campfire, as everyone sings one last song together.

My daughter has gone to Marymount for 12 years and loves it.It has been a tremendous part of her adult formation and her life over more than half of her life!!!She has been involved with management and administration for the past few years as waterfront director and nurses assistant in the infirmary. She also will be CIT director this year!!!She is very excited and loves camp and wants to go back all summer every year!!!She even went up to UT Knoxville for the weekend a few weeks ago with camp friends to go see other camp friends!!! Very cool property. Didn't use it for the camp, but our church did a Fall festival there and it seems to have everything you would need for a great kids' camp.

I only delivered one package one time to this location but I guess it was during a busy moment for everyone so there was a lot of campers outside and they were all doing fun stuff they all seem really happy and having a great time the counselor so I dealt with to get the package to where it was going we're all very friendly and courteous so although my kids don't go here and I've only delivered a package here just for what I saw everything looked in tip top shape.. I didn't give it five stars because I can only imagine that it's very expensive
