“Best vets around, hands down - they really care about your pet and listen to you when you have questions, as well as help explain things so you can make the best decisions possible for your family member. I wouldn't hesitate to see any of the 3 veterinarians at Admiral, but have to really also give extra over the top recognition to Dr. Stephanie Hickey, who has made a point to always try to fit in our high maintenance rescue dogs or my accident prone dobe pack anytime we truly need help - even when they're slammed.

“This place is incredible!! I would rate them a 10 star if I could. They saved the life of my German Shepherd, Rogue. When I first brought him in, he was running a fever. His infected elbow wounds were killing him. I brought him two to three times per week to get his wounds cleaned and wrapped. His elbows were infected with E. coli staph, and two other bacteria. It took two culture studies to find the right antibiotic to cure his wounds. Laser therapy also contributed to his healing. I had taken Rogue to two other Veterinarians who told me that there was nothing that could be done. I was not ready to put Rogue down. I am so thankful to Dr. Sherry Mellskog who took on the challenge of healing Rogue. Rogue is an aggressive dog and Dr. Sherry found ways to work with him in order to treat his wounds. When she could not be there, Dr. Cooper and Dr. McEnroe saw Rogue and contributed their expertise. They all contributed to Rogue's healing including the Veterinarian Technicians---Jenn, Brooke, Ashian, and Savannah. The office staff also helped Rogue in scheduling his appointments---Tara, Helen, Lynn, and Ashian. I have been to three different Veterinarian Hospitals and this one is the Best! I drive one hour and 40 to 50 minutes to get there. The quality of treatment is worth it! The environment is kind and friendly and they make you feel that your pet is special! I will forever be grateful and thankful to Dr. Sherry's medical treatment that saved Rogue's life! I highly recommend Lovell Animal Hospital!!!”

“I just moved to the area and was nervous about having to find a new vet for my 2 cats. Booked an appointment with Cedar Bluff and was very impressed. The staff are amazing and made me feel like they really care about my boy’s wellbeing. Also really appreciated that they did everything in the room and didn’t take them to the back for service. The prices were also incredibly reasonable. Did 2 annual exams and got vaccines and it was a little over $300. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I look forward to working with them in the future.”

“I have a fear reactive dog who seriously dislikes car rides and had just been to the UT Behavioral Clinic the week before our first appointment at HVAH, so she was already very anxious and nervous. The outside exam room was WONDERFUL and the vet and tech both did a phenomenal job of connecting with my dog and helping her settle in for the visit.
I love that the staff is Fear Free certified - it makes for a less stressful visit for mom and dog! Happy to have found them.”

I know when we have to have a procedure done for one of our animals, they will be in great hands. The staff goes above and beyond to answer all our questions and take care of our pups. Their attention to detail is outstanding. They show genuine care for the animals they treat and care for. Our dog was just in this week for surgery and dental care. Dr. Ed called after the surgery was done to let us know our boy was awake and doing well, to fill us in on how everything went and answer any questions we had. “I just got a 4 mo old Whippet puppy and we had our first vet visit at Dr. Lentz's clinic with Dr. Alexander and asst. Tara. Both were wonderful (as well as the Office staff). You can tell right away that Dr. A is very knowledgeable about dog health and takes the time to really explain things to you. She doesn't rush the information or you out the door. She answered my questions thoroughly and received them well and the pricing didn't seem at all exorbitant. I'm very happy I took Marshmallow there and plan to continue because I feel we're in good hands!”

“I have a 5 year old golden retriever who I brought to Dr. Morrison after a long bout with not eating and having gastrointestinal issues. I had to change from another vet I was going to previously because I didn't feel Rose Bud was getting the care she needed. Dr. Morrison addressed the issue head on and Rose Bud went into surgery the following Monday. Rose Bud was in such a state she that the outlook wasn't good, but Dr. Morrison and all the vet techs and people at village veterinary medical saved her. I really can't say enough good things. I highly recommend this Veteranerian! Also Dr. L (I can never remember her full last name so I call her Dr.L) This vet is more expensive, but if you are looking for the best care for your animals, the price is worth every penny because the care is outstanding. I will always bring my dogs here now and I hope you will consider them if you want the best care for your pets too. With all my gratitude, Kristin”

“My dog Kaiser has been on the best behavior since his visits to West Bearden Veterinary Hospital. A different vet hospital refused to take Kaiser because he was anxious. But the staff at West Bearden were understanding and really came out to take on Kaiser's anxiety and put him at ease. He's been calm ever since and I really appreciate and I'm thankful for the staff meeting the challenge instead of refusing to take him. Surpringly Kaiser remained calm received vaccination and had blood drawn all on his first visit without any episodes. He's had overnight stays and I'm so thankful for the staff and their knowledge, that I will always bring Kaiser there for future stays and treatments. The staff didn't hesitate to meet Kaiser and assured me that they knew what to do if he did become anxious but he remained calm and was very receptive to their care. It has made it possible for me to take Kaiser on walks without him pulling the leash and that was something I wasn't expecting. But thanks to the knowledgeable staff and their expertise I can now walk Kaiser without him pulling to chase everything. I didn't bring Kaiser there for training that was just something the knowledgeable staff did in their normal scope of practice. West Bearden has made a very positive change in the behavior of my dog and I would recommend them to anyone that needed treatment for veterinary care. I'm so thankful for their expertise in knowing how to handle and treat dogs. Kaiser didn't recieve this kind of acceptance at a different hospital therefore West Bearden is the best!!!”

While I was uncomfortable with not being able to go inside the office with my sick cat (curbside only care), the vet went out of her way to keep me abreast of what was going on. She was concerned about the cat's sallow fur and her limp little body. I explained that she had been throwing up for 10 days straight. I also told her that my budget was limited. She said she could not give me a definitive diagnosis without labs, which I did not have the money for. The vet did tell me that she could treat her without labs, and did so with only an X-ray. She gave me a prednisone treatment for the cat to reduce the inflammation in her intestinal tract, and made a strong recommendation that I change her food to Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach. I did so and am pleased to report that my cat is back to her old self, playing and eating like crazy- no throwing up !!!!! If there was a 10 rating I would have given this vet a 10 ! Highly recommend Countryside Veterinary Service and this vet, who I think is Monica.”

“First visit at Concord Vet. Dr. Lisa Sulewski and groomer Annie were wonderful. My dog Mika is a rescue and doesn't like being handled, but they made sure she was comfortable and even called when she needed more medication. I really appreciated that!
