“The doctor & staff were knowledgeable and helpful with my pet’s health issues. I appreciate the lower cost, as well. This was my first visit, so perhaps there’s a way to pre register via an online portal to get an approximate time. I arrived at 11:30 and waited 35 minutes for a room. Luckily, my pet wasn’t too distressed during that wait time. I realize this isn’t an emergency facility, so in many cases, being a walk-in clinic is advantageous. I would bring my pet to the facility again for non-emergency services and try to arrive closer to the opening time of 11am.”
“I have been taking my pets to Admiral Veterinarian Clinic for many years. I took my first cat there for 11 years, and she always received the very best care. Every veterinarian and staff member there has been absolutely wonderful, caring, and compassionate.
Recently, I have been bringing my most recent cat, and we have been seeing Dr. Warren. She is truly amazing. She was born to do this! She is so compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients and their families. I feel completely confident knowing my cat is in her hands.

I arrived around 9:30–10:00 a.m. in tears because my dog had his first seizure, and I was extremely scared. Everyone was so kind and compassionate, and they took care of my dog right away. They also reassured me, explained the situation, and gave me clear instructions on what to do if it happens again.
From the front desk staff to the veterinary team, everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. I truly appreciate how well we were treated during such a scary moment.

“This place is FABULOUS! I sincerely can not say enough good things.
After a bad experience at an emergency vet my dog needed surgery to fix his dislocated hip. When I called Blackford and gave them the backstory they contacted the emergency vet to get records so I wouldn't have to. Day of surgery they walked me through everything, were very patient and took their time gaining my dogs trust. When I picked him there were no hidden charges, the bill was a little less than they had quoted (always nice), they gave me a tote with his medications inside, a reusable hot/cold pack, sling to help him walk, bag of pill pocket treats, pages of aftercare instructions printed and carried him to the car, set him up for the ride home. They even called the next day to see how he was doing.
I have never even gotten service like this for myself. ha ha.
He is healing beautifully and we did a hip toggle instead of an FHO (everyone wants to do an FHO and I never liked it) to do the hip toggle and save his joint was just another level of care. Most vets want to do the quicker/ cheaper option.
If you need special surgery, go here! They're worth it!!”

“Ace, 300 pound chocolate lab who’s had both knees Done and he developed swelling in a fever and we got him to Northshore and they did a thorough exam x-rays got in my antibiotics told us what to look for and how to measure his progress the results where he got better, which we are so thankful for thanks Dr stock for staying on top of it. It means a lot.”
“Had to take my little girl to them, cause my current vet doesn't accept walk ins and I was really worried about my little girl. The staff and vet at karns animal clinic was respectful, very caring, prices were not unreasonable. They explained everything they wanted to do. Discuss cost of each test and services. I explained i am on a fixed budget income and my husband is retired but our baby girl wasn't doing well. Vet lay out each cost and was working with us. I asked her to please be honest with me about everything even if I wasn't going to like it.i just didn't want my girl to suffer Well we started the xrays two different types. The vet came in and told me my baby girl had cancer through out her body and her lungs couldn't extend so she couldn't breathe. She was suffering. So I made a decision to let my baby girl rest in peace. The vet stop all other tests so no added cost. Plus suggested a sedation before letting go, so she would be asleep and feel no pain. They allowed me 15 minutes with my girl while she fell asleep in my arms to hold her and tell her goodbye and I love her. They allowed me to hold all the way to the end. Very caring, respectful and considerate vet and staff. I have transfer to them. I lefted my old vet's office to go to Karns Animal Clinic. Prices are good, staff ,vet,services,cleanliness and space location everything was awesome. I like them so much I am bringing my little boy Tiny a pit/boxer mix to them on Saturday. From a sad start saying bye to my little girl cat Mia to a new beginning with a better vet for all my furbabies. 3 cats and two dogs. I take my furbabies health seriously and not any vet will do. Karns Animal Clinic as met all if not more than my hopes for animal care for my furbabies. I suggest you bring your furbabies to them. Walk-ins are welcome, appointment etc also. Great staff and vet. Above and beyond furbabies care.”

“Took my 2 greyhounds for their first annual visit yesterday. I researched for a non-corporate vet prior and spoke w/Dr Paul before making the transition. He reassured me that he was not afraid to ask questions or do research if he ran into an unfamiliar situation and that he was familiar w/ the peculiarities of this breed. It was a late afternoon appt so there was some wait time, but once we got in it seemed as if every staff member came in to meet the boys and visit with them. Dr Paul was so cordial and willing to spend time asking questions about our activities and history. I was reluctant to change vets, but now I don't know why. I was very pleased and will consider this our new clinic. Also the price was sooooo much less than the other animal hospital we used to count on. Bordetella: $23 vs $57!!”

“Worked my pup in despite being at client capacity. Treated us both with kindness and compassion. Told me never to apologize for being emotional about my little guy hurting. I think I needed the permission to cry, because it was eating me up seeing him suffering and not knowing what was wrong. They were able to give a positive diagnosis and had the meds needed on hand to help provide relief. He ate real food for the first time in several days and started to regain his mobility in his neck within a few hours. I'd give them. More stars if it would let me.”

“Took my Tom Boy (cat)here months ago because he was barely eating and slept all day and was withdrawn and he stays wherever I'm at usually. we had no idea what he needed or what was wrong but turned out he just needed a clip and scrap of his paw and he was back to his happy self in 2 hrs we got a call to pick him up mind you I was freaking out so the fit him in is why I dropped him off.
The office staff are incredibly nice and the vet is also Amazing and Very kind herself.
hands down best and most affordable vet I've ever been to and I'm 46 years old.Our Tom Boy is a little mean to strangers and doesn't take kindly to them mind you. They are Amazing I forgot to do this review it's been a few months but I wanted to take a minute to give credit where it's certainly deserved.”

I had to change from another vet I was going to previously because I didn't feel Rose Bud was getting the care she needed. Dr. Morrison addressed the issue head on and Rose Bud went into surgery the following Monday. Rose Bud was in such a state she that the outlook wasn't good, but Dr. Morrison and all the vet techs and people at village veterinary medical saved her. I really can't say enough good things. I highly recommend this Veteranerian! Also Dr. L (I can never remember her full last name so I call her Dr.L) This vet is more expensive, but if you are looking for the best care for your animals, the price is worth every penny because the care is outstanding. I will always bring my dogs here now and I hope you will consider them if you want the best care for your pets too. With all my gratitude, Kristin”
