Sold me a home with a single car garage and the garage is not big enough to hold a normal size car. They did not disclose this. We had to figure it out after we bought it and went to park in the garage and our car would not fit. Also told me that I could park in front of my own house. Turns out that was a lie. Now they want to give me a ticket or tow my car if I park in front of my own house. A Person contacted me from good all homesme about would I recommend Good all homes. When I told her what had happened. She said she would help me. After a couple calls back and forth and text I guess she figured out that she couldn't do anything and just quit replying. That's very poor customer service. Turned what should have been a joyful experience into one of regret. And now my house is upside down also because the market has turned down so I won't be able to sell it for a while. I am stuck here, unable to park in my own garage or in front of my own house.

Purchased our condo in Gallatin Tennessee. Very happy with our salesman (Tony-who left Goodall shortly thereafter our purchase). After a year living here, we’ve had several situations that have not been pleasant. Too many issues to type here. We had our year inspection with a list of items to correct. They fixed a few of them, but after many attempts to find out when they plan to complete the work, NO contact. In the meantime, we see daylight coming from our entry doors. (See attached pictures). We made a HUGE mistake in buying from Goodall! Wish we could go back in time.

I can't say enough good things about Goodall. Went under contract in August, studio design in September, broke ground in October, and closed in May. Every team member was so helpful and amazing. The process with Goodall was seamless. I could not have asked for a better builder to build our 1st home!Service: Home building

The customer service and follow up on tasks after purchasing the home is poor at Goodall. They did not come back to fix the fireplace, our kitchen cabinets, the nail pop outs, bathroom tile, bathroom sinks, etc. They practically build your home, take your money, and never call to follow up with you. That's not good at all a huge home builder such as Goodall.

II would give Goodall Homes zero stars but it's not available. There are too many negative comments; however, their business practices are terrible. This company is ruthless and starts a home community but does not complete it. They do not honor their one year walk through inspections and fix their mistakes or replace products that are defective.

Terrible Builder, Strung us along for months, we finally got our money back and moved on, they are still working on our build, started in January 2022, so over 13 months and probably another 3 or 4 months more

I can honestly tell anyone looking to by a Goodall home not to buy it based on the warranty. It is now two years since we bought our home in Knoxville and they have not finished everything that they agreed to fix under warranty. I have called, begged and done everything they asked. Excuse... Excuse.. Excuse. Now it's a change in the manager over the warranty department that is keeping them from finishing. I am not alone with this issue in the Knoxville area. Do not buy these homes. No one cares at Goodall. They claim they are a Christian company... they lie.. they make excuses and leave their customers hanging. I can't wait until the local news picks up on this story. It is coming.

We bought our Goodall Home less than 3 years ago from the original owner, so this was one-owner home. The home was built in 2014. The builder, or their plumbing sub-contractor, put in a 2013 water heater. The ceilings on the main level are all poorly finished and wavy. The vaulted ceiling in the primary bedroom is poorly finished (crooked, not straight looking). It makes me wonder if there was a major leak or flood from the fire extinguisher system when the home was built, which was not disclosed by the former owners when we bought from them. Per getting to know our neighbors, this apparently happened to a few people on our street when Goodall built their homes. Additionally, we were notified by our licensed plumber that the entire piping and universal tub/shower valve were not installed to code or properly secured. All this to say, the former owners didn't manage the processes with Goodall Homes and their sub-contractors. Bottom line, make sure you visit your build site almost daily and micromanage them until they are red in the face. This needs to happen by us as consumers to make sure that they don't cut corners and build a half-ass home. Also, make sure to do ALL of your inspections, no matter the cost, when buying an already lived in home...regardless if it has only been owned by one family/person.

Sales department was fine as I don't think they have any idea what's going on with the builds. Building was massively delayed which caused payment to go up due to interest rates hikes. Still can't blame them to much for supply chain issues. However the warranty department is absolutely atrocious! It took them 9 months to address a handful of issues. Over that time they did not follow up on any concerns I had but twice. I have literally never had worse customer service in my life.

This company is the absolute worst bunch of people to deal with. They continue to lie to your face and do not do anything they promise. The quality of work is terrible, and when you complain, they say that's the way building is done. From installing wood floors and drywall with NO windows even done yet is a terrible way to build a house. From terrible concrete in the foundation, garage floor, front porch, and driveway, ALL CRACKED, to Our $15k wood floors constantly coming up, to a major roof leak over our Master Bedroom so we had to move our bedroom to the dining room for 3 months, It has been 1 problem after another. And then, they just try to avoid you, don't answer their phones when you call, and don't return emails. It has been the worst building experience EVER for us, and we had built in 2 other states with other builders. Please ask anybody in our neighborhood before buying a Goodall Home. The final kicker is after they left multiple neighborhoods in Chattanooga unfinished, they sold to another builder and pulled out, to get away from their problems, claiming business reasons. Berkshire-Hathaway should be ashamed of this.Services: Roof installation

Goodall does not stand behind their warranty. It took them 7 months to get a shower door "correct" and its still is not correctly working. The floors are coming up in my house and they will not replace them. Columns on the house came off which needed to be repaired. Bathroom and laundry room floors were coming up and was told they would not replace them even though it was a safety hazard. I paid to have them replaced while the house was under warranty. Cabinets are not properly built. Water heater broke after 4 months of living there. Subdivision has been done for years ..AND WE HAVE NO ROADS!! They cut too many corners. Warranty is horrendous. They will do anything not to repair their poor work. Run!!!!!!!!!!!!Services: Garage design & building

Goodall Homes is by far the WORST and most DISHONEST company I've ever had the misfortune to do business with. The short review.... we signed in February 2021 and were supposed to close November 2021. We didn't close until July 2022 and have a list of 259 outstanding/items issues that are yet to be resolved including some serious hazards like our entire 3rd car garage flooding through the foundation when it rains, another garage door inoperable due to the wire being caught in the track, banisters loose and splintering, the side of our dishwasher's sharp metal being exposed and garage stairs that are rotting and not even connected to the ground. If a corner can be cut, Goodall cuts it. If a cheaper vendor can be found, Goodall finds them. If cheaper materials can be found, Goodall buys them. And every single employee we interacted with us lied to us with a smile on their face. After all was said and done... Goodall cost us over $70K in mortgage costs do to rising rates, $40K in living expenses because they continued to promise close dates and slowly extend them out month by month, $10k minimum to install proper drainage and landscaping that a past employee promised us would be done correcly and immeasurable damage to our emotional well being. Goodall doesn't care about you or your home and nothing about the process is "Fun" or "Easy". The icing on the cake was when the VP met us at our house and when we told her she was responsible for all of the incompetent employees beneath her she stomped off and drove away. I've included a collage of just 18 of our 259 issues... 95% of them passed Goodall's Quality Control process and were deemed quality and acceptable. Goodall is a JOKE of a company and if you want a good quality home you should buy from anyone else.

At a few specific times I would have given Goodall Homes 3 stars and at other times 1 star. They are not a great builder but I also don't believe they are the worst. With that said, due to poor workmanship, cheap materials and a lack of dedication to building their homes well, I think a fair evaluation is 2 stars. Look out for overpriced upgrades and bring an inspector to both the pre-drywall meeting and the final walkthrough.

BUYER BEWARE !!!! I purchased a brow wood cottage in Lookout Mountain, GA. I have attempted to be patient but all Goodall wants to do is finish building and leave. They hire and fire subcontractors like there is no tomorrow. Therefore there is a lack of consistency for much except inconsistency itself. Where to start -- the warranty process is a joke. I was stood up today. I was supposed to have painters here, but no call, no text, no communication. First off they did such a messy job on the flooring I am still cleaning off excess glue that did not show up until I moved in and started walking around. hmmmm Nail pops were fixed at the year end. Splotchy paint has not been addresses. All extra flooring is in the attic and unaccessible - I asked for it to be placed in the garage -- they brought down one tub of grout when they did a mediocre job of patching grout cracks. I have a rain gutter that is supposed to go away from my foundation under my entry sidewalk to a pop up in the lawn.... but it was covered in sod and has been accumulating under my foundation - but Goodall states it is not their issue. Fortunately our lawn maintenance fellow/company for the hoa came over and found the pop up that was buried under sod --- therefore it has never drained except under the foundation and I live in the first building built. Goodall does not care and states issues are mine and the HOA. The septic/sewer system they installed is inadequate. There have been numerous issues and the place is max 2 years old for the first two buildings. The sprinkler system is so ineffective that the rain sensor is located so the sprinklers hit it; therefore making it useless and again Goodall takes no responsibility for rectifying the situation. Also the sprinklers are one in a section therefore my driveway is completely watered as is my garage door. Need I mention what the water does on the metal garage door. Again - Goodall does not care and tries to make our landscape maintenance company responsible for their poor design and installation. The list goes on and on of inadequate planning. Drainage issues throughout the complex have been addressed with bandaids. IE low bid gets the job.... or so it seems. They installed pool gates on our courtyards -- they are cute but freeze shut in the winter -- I found that slightly entertaining.TheService: Home building
