I have been going to H&R Block for the past three years. I’ve never had any problems and I’ve never had to pay an outstanding amount or what iview and what some people view as an outstanding amount this year I had one simple 1099 to file that’s it, I’m not going to mention names because I feel like it’s not appropriate but the person that had helped me with my taxes seemed Finnicky and unsure of what they were doing. They had to keep erasing things and asking for help when she had got to my total I was not pleased at all! When they got to the total of how much it would cost to file my taxes It was unbelievable how is to file going to cost $600. I refuse to pay that amount, considering that each and every year before it was less and not as confusing, even when I had more papers to file. i’ve then went to file online and only ended up paying $120 They seem shocked when I told them that I was able to pay so little!!! I wouldn’t go here it’s very unprofessional and i’m assuming the business is just money hungry?

We’ve used the services at this location for a few years, this year there was an issue that was both my end and our tax preparers end because she didn’t catch the error before filing our taxes and I noticed after my appointment and called for assistance in correcting the issue the same day (back in February) we still have not received either our refund or communication (forget trying to actually talk to someone) from the IRS and whenever we call this office for assistance we never get a call back from the manager who is quick to rush us off the phone and refer us to the IRS. It is now November and we still have not received any assistance from this office in taking the steps to correct the error so our taxes are filed correctly and so we may get our refund. After this fiasco we will not be using them again and will use another company for assistance in the future. We’ve spent way too much money for services only to get pushed aside and receive absolutely zero assistance in correcting the error.
