Worst vet in Gallatin. Warning steer clear. Terrible vet. He overdosed my little 2 lb puppy because he was mad at me for calling him on a weekend.. She died a slow and horrible death because of him. He was seen on video injecting death shots straight into the heart of defenceless little animals. Guess it makes him feel powerful to play with little lives. Many other caring vets in Gallatin.

Without a doubt, our cat would not be alive if not for Dr. Baber. Our cat was at death’s door, but Dr. Baber said there may be hope, and he thought he could treat him. Our cat is now safely back home with us, and is recovering from poisoning. We are so happy! Dr. Baber will be our pets’ veterinarian for life!

This vet was able to take my dog in on short term notice to help with her kennel cough. He also had me in and out for vaccines within 5 mins. He is AMAZING! He truly cares about the pets and not just in it for profit. This is the only vet I will ever take my pets too. He is so warm and friendly and the environment makes you feel safe and confident!

Dr. Baber is an extremely nice guy. Caring, and down to earth.I refer all of my friends to him who have animals and need a veterinarian. They've all had similarly good experiences over the years.

New to the area and needed my German Shepherd neutered. Read reviews and they were highly rated so I booked appointment. Was told to be there by 8am. When I entered building was greeted by a very nice woman, she told me doctor would be there soon. Another dog was coming in and my dog was high anxiety so I asked if I could wait in a room. I was told there really wasn't one except to put him in a kennel and doctor saw me walking him in with muzzle and wanted to know if I could stick around to be with my dog to at least get him thru sedation. I proceeded to have to go wait outside. 45 minutes later I was told to come back in, they placed us in surgery room. After another 20 minutes doctor came in with vaccine, I had to hold my dog down while he administered it and within 1 minute my dog was out cold. I was told I could leave and come back about 3/4 pm. I am guilty of not listening to my gut instincts. The only people there is the doctor and the woman staff member. The surgery table looks like something from 1960's, the room did not clean nor sterile. I was not explained the procedure at all. My other dog had been neutered prior week in Alabama. I was offered IV fluids during surgery that help with recovery, I was offered laser to help with wound healing, I was sent home with pain medication and a cone. I was told he may cough for day or so due to intubation and told to watch out for testicle sac to swell and if it does to put hot compress on, if too large or doesn't go down return. I was told NOTHING by this vet for this dog. I got no paperwork, no post surgery education, no medication. I was basically told he does these all the time its pretty basic procedure. My dog did not get an IV as nothing was shaved for one, my assumption is after I left they placed my dog on table, cut him up, stiched him and put him in kennel. I called to check on him at 2pm and was told hes good to go. 5 days later my dog has fever of 102.3 and needed vaccine antibiotics and sent home from vet with anti inflammatory/Pain meds and antibiotics. Im monitoring him closely but thankful my local vets office could get us in. After more research on the doctor himself I see many years ago he lost his license or it was suspended for awhile. He needs to invest in equipment, disinfectant and provide better communication and treat each case as if its important not just a routine. Im hoping my boy heals good now that I took him to a vet who listened. This office also told me to take the stitches out myself because dog might be calmer in comfort of my home. No cone provided, the guilt I feel is indescribable. Please listen to your gut and do your research, learn from my mistake.

Got my dog in without an appt. Very reasonably priced. This is my second time here, both times the vet showed he cares more the animals than making a dollar.

I work at a pet store call this vet hospital for a rabies shots. A guy was super rude on the phone at our pet store we required rabies shot the date and we can’t look anything up if they have the rabies tags. I do not recommend to go this place or call they are super rude.

This is the best place to bring your fur babies. The most caring vet I’ve ever been too. I’ll never take my babies to another place. I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am for this place.

Nala is back to her normal self after this vet went above and beyond. We were new to this area, and hadn't yet established a vet. She had a UTI, and her adverse reactions to her meds made it very difficult to treat, but his patience and no-nonsense approach to treatment has made him her favorite vet though we hope to never need him again.
