“Arrowmont is a true hidden treasure in Gatlinburg. If you've been to Gatlinburg you have almost certainly walked or driven right by it and never noticed it. If you are looking to take an arts and crafts class with instructors from around the country and world this is the place. The facilities are great and the staff is super friendly. It's an amazing experience that I highly recommend.Tip: If you do decide to take a class be sure to purchase the meal plan with your class. The meals in the "mess hall" are amazing, and it's a wonderful opportunity to socialize with your classmates and instructors. It's so awesome you'll forget you have a phone. Seriously, how wonderful is that?”

“They are the greatest folks to work with. Not only are Burns paintings exceptional and those of woods as well but the frame shop is awesome. Can't think of any place I would rather have work done on some exceptional paintings of the smokies”

“Really good quality and although the price is adjusted for both the makers/artisans and owner can make money. If you are buying to keep It seems that the pieces are all unique enough that the product is worth the extra money .”

“Excellent service. They stand behind their products. Long story short: Recently on my 25th wedding anniversary I was thinking of a Jim Gray giclee print we bought that had mysteriously cracked throughout the print. I decided to reach out to the gallery. To my great surprise, they accommodated me and worked with me to make things right. Very rare that companies stand behind their products, let alone 25 years after the sale. Dan, Deanna and everyone I came in contact with were super responsive and helpful.”

“We love Alewine Pottery! We have been coming here for years. We were coming back this visit for a certain print they had been retired. The nice lady went in the back and found us a piece is pottery in that print. She didn’t have to do that and we were thrilled to be able to take home another piece of Alewine Pottery!”

“We always stop in when we visit the Smokey Mountains, they have the cutest handmade pottery and my absolute favorite travel mug. It’s tucked away off the main strip so you’ll have to search a bit to find it but definitely worth the search if you’re looking for an authentic souvenir. Great prices too!”

“My wife and I own six Henry Parker oil paintings and decided to visit his gallery in Gatlinburg a few years ago. Highly recommended for the nautical buff who's looking for some seascapes at a reasonable price. It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Parker in person and sharing our love for his paintings.”

“Beautiful the lady there, I'm sorry her name escapes me, was so gracious today and so nice. We felt as if we were visiting a friend instead of seeing a gallery.”

“I have always found Kathi to be very pleasant to deal with. 20 years ago we saw a hand carved Santa by artist Steve Springer but did not purchase it at that time. That same year at Christmas, I called Kathi to see if it was still available. It was and she shipped it to me in PA as a surprise Christmas gift for my wife. Since that time we have purchased a number of other pieces that Steve Springer has hand carved and they are a reminder of a very special talent. We can’t thank Kathi enough for her thoughtfulness and her willingness to share her knowledge of the area. Highland Craft gallery is one stop on the loop you need to make.”
