Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen is a must on any Gatlinburg trip, considered the best for candy, taffy, and fudge on the strip. This spot carries a timeless charm and is a standout experience, with candy makers working in full view and the scent of fresh fudge and taffy pulling you in. It is a perfect blend of Southern hospitality and old-fashioned candy-making. They have the best taffy ever, with favorite flavors including clove and sassafras. Their fudge is amazing, and their candied apples and hand-dipped caramel apples are really good. Chocolate covered treats are highly recommended, especially the dark chocolate covered cherries with stem and the chocolate covered espresso beans. They also offer pecan divinity and taffy logs. The store has everything you could want for sweets under one roof, making it easy to browse. It is a family favorite and a fond memory for many, perfect for picking up gifts or indulging in a personal treat. The staff is friendly and efficient. Many visitors stop at the beginning and end of their trip to get more for friends and family back home.

My mamaw and papaw took multiple yearly trips to gatlinburg, always had to stop at ole smoky candy kitchen. I recommend the dark chocolate covered cherries with stem, really any of the covered stemmed cherries white, milk or dark. So so good and such a fond memory ❤️
