“I can’t speak to carrier delivery (although given the geography of this area, I’d probably give them a little grace), but having a PO Box with them is great. Staff is always friendly.

I’m in there a lot so I see quite a few examples of what the 1 and 2 stars are about. Since a large amount of the “houses” in Gatlinburg are STRs - it’s not reasonable for them to try to accurately deliver packages to them.

One review mentioned a male worker jokingly telling a lady to throw it over the plexiglass and then continuing the joke about how packages are handled. There is an open area to the right where you put packages. Learn to take a joke.

Anyway, love these guys. They get a lot of flack and deserve more appreciation. Not to mention, no sane person goes out of their way to write a good review for the post office even if they are happy with their service.”

“Finally, A nice, professional employee at this post office. You guys did good hiring this guy. Never seen him here before. He went to the back and got my packages. He helped the next customer in line. Then he ran outside to help me load my packages. Never expected that!”
