This was our first time going to Anakeesta Saturday, March 16, 2023. We got hungry and came to your restaurant. It was ten of us. We all didn’t sit together but very close to each other. We all had a waitress name Joni. She was AMAZING! She really took very good care of us. She made sure we had everything we needed plus her wonderful hospitality to make our meal enjoyable. The manager even came by after our meal to make sure we were enjoying our stay and we had fun with him as well. My husband was teasing him and told him he thought the person who brought his food left with some of his fries. A few minutes later the manager came by and slid my husband some hot fries and told my husband he don’t like when people mess with his fries either. We all started laughing so loud.NO ONE out of our group had anything but nice things to say about how good the food was and the service. I would definitely come back again. I had the campfire trout, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My hubby and a few others raved about their Mt. Leconte, another at our table enjoyed the shuck chicken and some others raved about the bison burgers. If I come back to the park again, I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. Server came to our table maybe twice to check in and the last time was for him to tell us gratuity was included. Our table spent $250+ and we saw our server twice. Did not refill our drinks, kids did not get their food until after the adults did, and we had to help our server calculate the change to give us back. It takes a lot for us to leave a review, but to spend not only the money on the food, but also for the tickets to get up there, this review is well deserved.

I was so excited to see a bison burger on the menu. But at 7:30pm on a Wednesday was told the list was full for tables but we could sit at the bar. Sat down at the bar beside two dirty plates that sat there long after another couple sat down and got tired of waiting to be acknowledged and left. My $20 bison burger was undercooked cold and served on a stale bun. The bread and butter pickle added an injury to this insult. The kids chicken tenders were at least hot but just ok. The fries were covered in so much salt and pepper there were all but inedible. Sadly the cookie was the only highlight of this meal. The porkchop I saw looked good but I definitely won't be sitting at the bar to order it. I'd probably have to be there for lunch to get a table for dinner anyway.

Anakeesta was an amazing experience, but this restaurant was phenomenal. We didn’t have to wait long to get outdoor seating, maybe a total of 5 minute wait. The hostess had a lot of energy and was very attentive. The food was incredible and pretty affordable for the wine that we got. It was my birthday so they gave me a free glass of wine, which was nice of them. The wait time for our food probably took about 10-15 minutes and it came out at the perfect temperature. The nice part is if you don’t finish your drink, you can walk around with it.

We waited about five minutes before being seated. The menu is limited but it was delicious. We got the cheese curds and they were amazing for an appetizer. We both got the burgers which came with fries. The plate presentation was on point! What I loved about the food was the fact that I got full but did not feel like I ate too much. They have a bar also and a wide variety of drinks. Our waitress she was also amazing. She had a sense of humor and was just a pleasure to speak with.

A perfect stop for real dining at anakeesta that totally beats allnthenlittle quick snack places. No reservations, but seating was immediate for our party of five, and service was pretty quick all around also. The food was really good, from appetizers to entres, too full for dessert, and the kids liked their options as well. They have plenty of adult beverages, including a full bar.

Feb 24tg 2024...Manager Ryan from Louisiana did nothing to fix our situation.Ruined my family's vacation.Time waiting for food 1hr +Condescending servers...who back talk if you ask for food that you are paying for....Slow service and rude staff...If you are black or brown do not come to this racist restaurant.Food is no good eitherThis is only full service restaurant at Anakeesta Park and they take full advantage of that. They mistreated a Mexican family, a black family and an Asian Indian family. Most horrible culture who care not at all for the customersDo not waste your time and experience at this place.

Very disappointed in this experience. Server seemed annoyed with us the entire time. Shrimp and grits came with 5 small shrimp and 2 large squares of absolutely flavorless grits. Definitely not the “elevated experience” that was advertised.

Anakeesta is a beautiful place to be with a lot of views and things to do. I had to give them a four star because the service was so far past slow. It made no sense. However, I do recognize that it was a holiday weekend. The French onion soup that we had was divine. The bloody Mary was fantastic and had bacon, olives, lemon, and lime, and all the fixings. We didn’t get to explore the menu fully, but based on what the soup tasted like I can’t imagine that things wouldn’t be delicious. My only recommendation is that they get somebody to help the bartender because it was slow. Look forward to trying it again next year.Parking: Prepare to pay $20 for parking garage bc they don’t have a lot

This is a top notch restaurant. Food and service were great and how can you beat the view of the smokies from this place? You can’t.

Try to make a reservation prior to your arrival to the park cause it can get pretty packed. I made one on the stop and luckily did not have to wait long, receiving reminder and updates from the staff voluntary. Once seated the waitress served us extremely well and this place has amazing food. In a party of 10 everyone immensely enjoyed their food and drinks. Some of the best shrimp & grits I ever had!
