Michelle has been my hairdresser for over 10 years. She has also done my children and husband. She knows exactly what I need for the texture and length of my hair which is very thin and straight. She knows the color I like and need and does it perfectly every time I get my hair done I have one complement after another wherever I go and I have sent many people to Michelle. I’ll give her a five star and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone needing a creative, innovative, reliable, and caring hairdresser.

All of the stylist do a fabulous job especially with color.My stylist is always on time, and ready to make any style or color changes I suggest, and give me great hair advice to fit my personality, career and lifestyle. I would also say that when I was dealing with family illness of my Mother, Michelle was alway flexible to work out my schedule since I was traveling to help care for my Mom. The whole salon has a great "vibe" and is always a great part of my day when I head in there for their services. I have been a client of Michelle’s for years now and my hair has never looked better. I have struggled with finding a stylist that would make my hair the cool blonde that I love (I was always warm and brassy) struggled so much that I just went dark brown because I got tired of dealing with the brassy blonde. Enter Michelle…I have FINALLY found someone that does exactly what I ask! My hair is the most beautiful cool blonde and healthier than it’s ever been. Love her so much that I allowed my daughter to get her hair highlighted by Michelle for the 1st time and she is now hooked!! Michelle is the BEST at what she does and a true professional. I highly recommend her for all of your hair needs!

The owner, Michelle, is top notch in that she listens to my over the top wants and magically gives me exactly what works best for my hair, skin tone, and time I’m willing to spend on styling. There’s no one better in this city than Michelle. Her salon and her services are top notch. I would ask anyone considering her salon to not take seriously a recent review by a daughter of a previous difficult customer telling tales and half-truths of events from several years ago. Personal attacks are tacky and desperate. Mentioning her personal life, specifically her marriages, is especially nasty after she lost her husband of 20 years. I’m sure their children appreciated that. I’ve been going to Michelle for over 25 years and have never been on the receiving end of negative or uncaring behavior. In fact, I often accuse her of being too nice especially to rude and difficult customers and their daughters. She always does right by her customers in one way or another. I can’t recommend Michelle more. She’s beautiful, inside and out, and extremely talented.

I absolutely love Salt & Light Salon! The staff there is so friendly & accommodating!! I have been going to Michelle for for 25 years (since high school)! I have followed her to all of her new salons because she is that wonderful! She always goes above and beyond… catering to my little ones, coming in early for my last minute appointment requests and not to mention our sweet conversations every visit! I always leave there loving what a wonderful job she has done! I don’t know that I’ll ever trust or find another hair stylist as wonderful as Michelle. If you’re looking for a salon filled with a joyful staff, great service and an at home vibe, Salt & Light is your place!
