Went in during lunch on a weekday so the store was not at all busy. Let me start by saying this is not a bad review against the brand Athleta but a bad review of the Salespeople! I walk in and not greeted by the three snooty sorority girls "working"...now when I say "girls", I actually mean three middle aged Germantown somethings that look like they have never worked out a day in their life. I got side-eye glares and actually got followed into the kids section, I am an adult women and wear an XXS so the kids sections sometimes fits better....NOT because I am going to steal something! At one point one salesperson made eye contact with me and looked me up and down with a scowl...what? NEVER again will I step foot in this joint, will stick to online....I mean heck, even the snooty gals at Lululemon greeted me and offered to help!

My first and LAST visit to this place.I went here on Tuesday BEFORE Thanksgiving.I was greeted and initially waited on by "Anna" whom I found very nice and helpful. The store is small, cramped and dimly lit.It was almost like going into a mortuary to pay your final respects.I had brought my daughter there to look for alternatives to Lululemon and a little least expensive in price. My daughter looked around and could not find the leggings she wanted in her size.We were "handed off" to a couple of other "older"clerks that seem to only care about getting the stock on the shelves. When my daughter told the clerk the ones she tried on were too "tight" in the legs, one of the clerks responded in a snarky tone "they're suppose to be tight, they are leggings"... well duh!A pair my daughter found was $109 dollars, and I asked the older more "haggard" clerk where the leggings for $49 and $59 dollars were.I was told by this clerk In a very condescending and rude mannerthat they don't have or even sell anything like that in this store!I produced my phone and showed this bitter employee the Athleta website that CLEARLY showed leggings in the $49 and $59 dollar price range. She rudely responded they don't have anything like that, unless it is in the sale area.If you wish to have a geriatric senior citizen that thinks she is a teen and God's gift to leggings and athletic wear talk to you in a rude and unprofessional manner, then this is the place for you.Instead of being spoken to in this manner or replying to her comments, we left and went to Lululemon where we paid the same price BUT had a more pleasant experience with pleasant people. Avoid at all cost!!!

This store was nice and well laid out. The associates were busy folding clothing and keeping the store neat when i arrived. The associates are attentive with getting you a fitting room started, Sammi helped me right away, in fact, so did another associate (so i actually had 2 separate fitting rooms started and didn't know it!) but not so much once you are in there trying the clothes on. No one asked me if I needed another size when i was in there. I had to step out and look for things myself or just wait my turn and ask one of the associates if they had a particular size. There were associates helping other patrons while i was back there in the dressing room but none were addressing me. This might just be their policy, i don't know, at any rate, i was helped once by the original associate who first greeted me and then after that, i would get re-dressed and i pretty much swapped my own sizes out myself. To top it off, i left my room to get some other sizes and i let one of the associates know (Laurie i think) that i wasn't done, that i would be back to my fitting room because i wanted to swap out sizes and not to let them put my clothes back on the sales floor and she said "ok!" But apparently she didn't listen because when i got back with my new sizes, my name was erased off of the board and my dressing room had been cleaned out! That was so irritating! I had to go back through the store and track down the items i had set aside to purchase. I know i missed a few, because i couldn't remember everything that i had in there. Other than that, I love Athleta brand clothes! I have well over 100 of their pieces. Their clothes is just comfortable and made for the modern woman and the real woman. They have sizes to fit everyone and almost every item that i try on fits! Other clothing brands have styles suited for one shape- popsicle stick or rectangle. Their clothes fit my curves. Most pants from other brands fit in the hip and butt however they gap at the back, not their clothing. It is well made and designed to fit real, day-to-day shapes. A lot of brands think "athletic build" is someone with a wide torso, narrow butt and hips, wide shoulders. I am athletic but i have a small waist, pear-shaped and have shoulders slightly smaller than my hips so shopping for clothing usually leaves me frustrated and hopeless but with Athleta, i really have to budget because so many pieces look so good on me and i can't possibly buy them all because, let's face it, they are kind of expensive.

SO EXCITED to FINALLY have an Athleta in Memphis! Saddle Creek brings all the best brands here! The staff is super helpful. I love the wide range of sizes - they even carry the girls' line. The store is arranged by activity which makes shopping easy - yoga gear in one section, running gear in one section, training gear in one section, etc. They carry lots of styles you can wear everywhere - work, running errands, etc. It's not just workout gear. There's also a large sale room which is awesome! They've got free fitness classes all the time, almost once a week. Highly recommend this store!
