RIP OFF REPORT *DO NOT USE MIDAS* - Firestone is next door. Tire Discounters is around the corner. Both Great Companies!!! If the Owner Steven Towers would like to repay me with a check to pay off the (Bogus line of credit company the Manager of Midas lied to me about that has an APR of 158%) for the grand total of $1,442 I will remove my review. Until then I talk to on average 100 people a day. And I am telling every single person who will tell a few more about this corrupt experience. I should be refunded for the now 2 days of work I missed too. As a quick in & out oil turned into an all afternoon experience sitting in a dirty old building falling apart with the air conditioner hanging out of the wall and half the flooring shingles damaged or missing from water damage. I watched a total of 6 people walk through the door from 12pm to 6:30 PM. Every one was given the same BS story there were problems with their cars needing items repaired. I trust people & trusted the manager who said I needed these things done. The front brakes and an oil change was all I really needed. I'm not happy that a few of the things I asked to be repaired were not and the manager made BS excuses as to I could come back after I set in the store for 6.5 hours and missed a day of work. The manager lied about the terms of and the line of credit he wanted me to use. I found out real quick after the work was completed and rang up that I was paying 158% APR and the company is now taking out $52 out of my checking account every 2 weeks When I found out the terms I was wanted to be quieted because the Owner and Regional Managers were in the store and let me tell you they did not say a word. Old saying s*** runs down the hill so they say. Great job guys - Take come classes on Operations Management as your business model is about to be closed and trust me I am personally the reason why you are going out of business whether you know it or not you cant screw people over to make a few bucks and stay in business. I am the reason why you are on your way out of business so I'd start right now looking for another line of work. I watched an older lady get totally screwed over on an old junker. The manager ordered the wrong part and tried to pass it off on her by then changing the price and telling her it was a better part. Another lady was tried to be screwed who went in for just an oil change same as I did. She said no and it was getting late so the manager did not push anymore and you know white guys dont push African American women too much. The last Guy with Very Little English was given about 2 hours where all the Manager did was try to get him approved for this Bogus Line of Credit to have his Uber Van repaired... This manager cared more about having this line of credit turned on than having the cars already in the shop repaired correctly. Some of the items the manager said needed to be repaired or maintained had already been repaired or has just been done before going in to Midas. Be very careful and look at reviews before doing business and when you need an Oil Change Avoid Using Midas. The Manager has been at this store 3 months the assistant has been there 2 days. Lots of loud rap music coming out of the back repair bay, lots of cussing and the guys had no gloves to work with. My car was given back to me with a squeak, vibration and noise. Turned around and went back. Between the 2 mechanics they were able to do something to get the noise to go away. A 1 star is because that's the lowest I can go to give this review and the 2nd mechanic has some knowledge. This guy will be gone soon to a more reputable company. Well to sum it up my car is now screwed up and I'm on my way to Firestone to find out what is wrong with a $1,442 bill do at a 158% APR. *This review will be posted every single place I can find and I promise to make it my mission to make sure no one else gets screwed. I will discuss with my attorney & Fox News. I'm giving the owner the opportunity to refund my

Was told break job would only be and hour and a half at 11:00. Now it's 2:00 and still hasn't been touched and the best part is that it cost me $475 just for the back breaks. And it was just one other person at the store when I arrived. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.

They ordered the wrong parts, I sat here for 2 hours when they told me it would be 60min. I would just avoid this place to be honest. Nice people but pretty bad service.

I was told it would only take 1 hour to check the alignment. I waited over two. I was told the alignment was fine, but I needed new rear tires (as there was cupping) and probably rear shocks. Then they told me that I should get an alignment since I was getting new tires. (see above where they first told me no alignment was needed). New tires do not require a full alignment. Also, no cupping whatsoever. I took it to a competitor and we both looked at the tire. Perfectly fine tread. Also they removed the oil change sticker from the previous place that changed the oil and replaced it with theres. I DID NOT GET AN OIL CHANGE. This is why people do not trust mechanics.

I have actually taken two vehicles to be serviced with an oil change at this location since recently opening. They were kind enough to inform me that my tires were in need of being replaced, which is actually true and they did quote me what I think was a fair price on tires but it wasn't a name brand or anything like that. But they also were kind enough to give me a giant list of other things that they recommended be done and it was strictly based upon mileage rather than anything else. One of the things that they also recommended I have done to this vehicle was a transmission fluid flush. While I am absolutely no mechanic, there are many things that I do know and one thing that I know is they have discontinued doing transmission system flushes as a industry-standard because it usually will wash shards of metal in two critical components and cause Transmissions To Blow To Pieces. So it is something that I would never do and I was dumbfounded to see that a repair center still does this as a common practice. My second vehicle that I took their for an oil change ended up even with the sale being just as expensive as Valvoline 10 minute oil change because of the high mileage oil. So I didn't really save anything and they said that was a sale price. They did recommend a tuneup on this vehicle as well because it has a miss and they also recommended a cooling system flush. What's interesting is they recommended all of this but missed the fact that the car actually has a housing for the thermostat that is leaking oil. I did mention it to the one guy that they probably would see it but I found it to be very odd that they recommended a cooling system flush but didn't recommend fixing that while they were at it. Now my biggest down with this visit was who I believe might have been the service manager although I am not 100% certain of that. All I know is it was a gentleman with facial hair who was probably in his mid to late forties who had just told a customer that their brake pads had barely any life left to them. The customer opted to not get the brakes changed, and for whatever reason that maybe, this particular person lost their crap and came out from talking to the customer Extremely Loud and rude and telling one of the employees to mark on the account that this idiot didn't want to have his brakes changed and that the guy had said he would be back next time and he said there wasn't going to be a next time cuz I'll never make it that far. His attitude and behavior was extremely belittling and downgrading and I could only imagine that that customer will probably never come to that business again. I know I am second-guessing my decision to return because of the actions and behavior of this particular individual. The last thing that I want is somebody talking bad about me or acting that way towards my decision to not have something done. I know this place just recently opened up but I think this guy needs to have management above him give him some training on how to treat his customers

I only use Midas for oil changes due to their competitive pricing. This location has a better waiting area than others I've been to (despite the cold coffee), but the service is not as friendly. As with all Midas's in my opinion, they will always tell you a list of things that need to be fixed. This time I took my car to another shop right after and asked them about what Midas suggested. My other shop showed me each piece, and described why it does not need any repairs despite what Midas reported. I'll keep going to them for cheap oil changes, but I don't trust them for other repairs

Normally I don't do these but this place has gone downhill. I used to come here all the time. In fact my father and I have spent quiet a lot of money with these people but they lost my business. They got rid of all the people that actually knew what they were doing and replaced them with people who are rude and can't do their job properly.

Let me tell ya, I dont play with my $ or time. Which is why Scott is the ONLY person I'll deal with. I ask for him and refer customers to him and ONLY him. This is due to his GREAT (I mean GREAT) customer service. Every time I go, they (minus 1 guy...I dont like talking to him) are always courteous and professional. I travel 30 miles to only go to this shop for my minor car needs. May not always get great news, but it's always delivered professionally. I'm sure you'll be pleased as well.
