I have to say I would have given a 5 rating, but the end days were painful. Called to state the storage was being emptied. Did not realize that you could not leave unwanted items in the bin at the front. Received a sparky call stating move that out of there. OK give my daughter a few days because she works. If you can't take donate it put it in your car and dump it. OK, no one informed us that there is a dumpster wayyyy back of the property. So into the dumpster things went. I called to let them k ow that the dumpster was full and asked to be notified when it was going to be emptied. Nope, didn't happen. The dumpster was emptied upon next visit and no one called us. More than anything the attitude of office staff was not customer friendly. The storage was clean, well maintained, but don't ruffle their feathers.

This facility is top notch! Clean with easy access. Customer service and communication has always been superb. I will certainly be a return customer if needed in the future. I will also highly recommend Stowaway to friends and family.

Stowaway Storage in Gray TN was great! I had both an outdoor 10'x20' unit, and an outdoor climate controlled 10'x20' unit. Both units worked great, were very clean. The climate controlled stayed at a consistent 70 deg F, with low humidity (I left a monitor in the unit). All staff I talked to on the phone were local to the tri-cities area and a pleasure to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We never get the bill prior to due date. We have called the past 2 days and have been getting the run around to speak to Kevin the manager? I have left message after message and my husband called and they could not help and they were out of Ohio. My husband just put a Facebook review and they are quick and nasty to respond to that but not able to call?

Very clean unit and the staff is very friendly. I always felt safe even very late at night and alone. If I ever have storage needs again I will definitely use stowaway!

We utilized a climate controlled unit during a recent downsize from the sale of a home. The facility is very clean and secure, and we always felt comfortable on the business campus. The Gray facility is centrally located and has exceptionally easy access from anywhere between Kingsport and Johnson City.

We used Stowaway Self Storage for a few months before my daughter moved to another city. The self pay and 24 hour access was very convenient. The unit rented was very clean and had a lock in the unit that could be used while storing items. Good communication from the home office and and receipts sent by email after auto-pay. I would definitely use this self storage again.
