They want to sell you the tires they have in stock.Make sure when you go here you know what questions you want answered but also listen for new questions that may come up. Let them provide you information without influencing you.All my questions were answered the best way they could, to help me make a choice and lead me into a sale. Listen for what sounds like marketing vs information. A question I asked is what is a used tired? Asked them and clarify until you understand, read the reviews and come to your own decision.The people here want to help. They diagnosed my tire and against their own interest told me all my options in a way that let me decide what was best option tailored to me.Great people I had a great conversation with the tech there. “Was still having a problem with a tire that was repaired by a competitor(due to emergency). Thought it was a poor job done, but it turned out it was the tpm it could've been a coincidence, but I wasn't pleased with the other place they said car was done but really wasn't dirt/black smudges on my sunvisirs, and the repaired tire didn't even have 30psi in it. These guys took care of the problem and didn't even charge me. I will be going there from now on. Dom wrote the service request up, and thanks to the fella ( sorry didn't get his name) that repaired it correctly”

“I've been going to this Pep Boys for years. Not sure that I've ever really had a bad experience. At times communication has been poor, but I didn't have that issue this time around.I went Saturday morning at 8 am for new brakes. I was greated by Loren (I hope that's his name). He was very friendly and helpful. Let me know of a special they were running on oil changed. Perfect because I was due and the sales price was much less than I would have paid at my usual place.When you go to Pep boys, you need to be prepared that you ARE likely to have a fairly long wait. People drop their cars off over night so just because it doesn't look busy doesn't mean you are the only customer. I talked with him about how long the process would take as I had an appointment. Luckily I had planned on long wait and found a ride.I was a little annoyed that my appointment was at 8 and service didn't arrive until almost 9. Things happens, people run late. I was prepared.By the time my appointment was finished so was my vehicle. He applied all available coupons to the services I received knocking off over $100 off of the total.Also the new waiting area is much more comfortable than is was sitting in the middle of a store.”
