The Apex Bank in Andrew Johnson Highway is the very best bank I’ve ever used! The manager could not be more knowledgeable, thoughtful or kind. The tellers are genuinely nice and helpful. They are the very best! Thanks y’all!

All I can say is stay away from this bank…especially the one on East AJ Hwy. I had banked their well over a year with no problems. The pathetic manager Brant Fitzpatrick is very very rude and extremely shady. Maybe he is truly psychotic or thinks he is better than everyone else when in fact he is totally incompetent. I do believe they might need to be investigated. Trust me when I tell you that if you question something, an excuse will be made to close your account. But, no actual explanation can be given. It’s a deer in the headlight look with Brant. There have been multiple branch managers at this bank. I have googled it myself to make sure all of my information is accurate.Apex probably loses more customers than they keep at that location. If I can help someone considering Apex, I’m glad to say DONT DO IT!!!!

In short, do not bank with American Patriot. They are completely incompetent. I have been banking there all of 45 days and they have messed up my account more than one time. In addition to the fact that it took them 4 weeks to setup my online account access, they told me I was a liar, that I did not make a request for online banking. When I went into the office to tell them I needed access to online banking (after filling out the online form and waiting a week,) the tellers told me, "You should just wait, he'll get to it." They did not want to help me, they wanted to get me out the door. Once I was finally able to access my account I authorized Comcast to take a payment of 258$ out of my account. Comcast debited a total of 1270$ from of my account. This was not what I agreed to with Comcast, but they would not help me, so I called my buddies at American Patriot Bank. They told me that I allowed Comcast to Access my account, this allowed Comcast to withdraw any amount they wanted. They then told me I could not file a fraud charge until I talked to Comcast (I had, and told them I had, but she told me I was lying, again, not in so many words.) This was the 3rd person at American Patriot Bank I had spoken to about this issue. After this I was a little upset, as I am sure you would be if you lost more than 1000 dollars. I told her, specifically, that I felt everyone at the bank was incompetent, that Suntrust or Paypal would dispute the charge and work with me. She hung up on me. I called back, the next person was no more helpful. She talked over me just like the previous person. Today I get a certified letter telling me I need to find ANOTHER BANK to fulfill my financial needs, "Based on your phone conversations with American Patriot Bank staff on 06/17/16, we feel it is in both parties' best interest if this account is closed." "....we will close your account in 14 days..." Thanks for being there, American Patriot Bank. Don't worry, I will tell anyone and everyone who will listen.
