Her bedside manner was excellent. She made me feel heard, reassured, and genuinely cared for. She took the time to explain things and came up with a thoughtful treatment plan. I left feeling so much better emotionally and physically. Highly recommend!”

“I knew coming in that there may not be anything they could do for me. I did something to my left knee and it was hurting so bad I can't hardly walk on it. The doctor was very thorough in asking what I did or didn't do. I left with an ice pack and my knee wrapped to help stabilize it. Hopefully the medicine they prescribed will help. Being on vacation and not able to walk around to see things was not on my radar. Some things we planned on seeing are not going to happen. At least me seeing them.”
“My 11-year-old son overextended his elbow in a basketball related collision. We were able to have it checked out including x-rays and were reassured with the results. We were given instructions on how to treat it and what to look for. Everyone was sympathetic and attentive. I do wish we didn’t have to wait so long in the exam room, but everything else was as good as could be expected. I would visit there again, although I hope I don’t have to!”

He takes complete interest in each patient working closely with their needs, medications and history. He will talk "with" you and not "to" you. Office staff is efficient and friendly!”

She goes above and beyond for her patients, and you can tell she really loves her patients and her work. We have seen other pediatricians in their sick clinic and they have all been kind as well, but Dr. Varela is just the best of the best. I hope all of my girls are grown before she ever thinks about retiring!”
