“A neighborhood treasure here in Lockeland Springs/East Nash. Drove all the way from Murfreesboro to support these folks after hearing about the selfish neighbor lawsuit on the news. This store has a fantastic selection of meat and fresh hot food! They are also pet friendly and were so kind to my Husky. Found a nice chuck roast which I'm stoked to slow cook. God bless Roy's. 7 stars for each day of the week.”

“I love this place. What I don't love is driving all the way out here after I've worked all night to discover you are closed during your regular business hours. Hence why I gave you 4 stars instead of 5. I should not have to call to see if you are open before I head your way. Not good business practice. Do better.*in response. I could only reply like this. “Houston's is hands down the best butcher shop in the area. The quality and quantity of their meat and produce beats every grocery store like Walmart, Aldi, ect... by a long shot. The staff are kind and helpful, their prices are extremely affordable, the store is very clean, not to mention the premade meals are phenomenal. I now only shop at chain grocery stores for household items I cannot find at Houston's, other than that I get all my meat, veggies, and cheese here. 5 stars!”

“Not only do they have fresh baked goods, and needed household and pantry items but they are usually opened when other places are closed.I revisited the store and again I am impressed. The didn't have the eggplant I wanted, so the manager directed me to the closest store that did. These are truly good people and a good neighborhood store. 5 More Stars from John's take.”
