Carniceria San Luis is a great little carniceria right off Harding Place in Nashville. It is a lively spot with large grills lined up outside, filling the area with an amazing smell. The cases are filled with all kinds of fresh cuts of meat and lots of seafood options. You can also get fresh cheese and spices. The rotisserie and grilled chicken is a favorite, with incredible flavor and incredible value. The whole chicken meal comes with fresh corn tortillas and charro bean soup, providing enough food for at least three people. The pork tamales are also incredible—huge, flavorful, and worth it. Customer service is A+ and very friendly, with very good and helpful staff. There is almost no wait time to receive your food, often just a few minutes. It is a highly recommended place where you are bound to find something you will enjoy.
