“Funky glass blowing studio in Chattanooga that makes a fun date night or family night activity. Make an appointment before you go as sometimes they get busy. You’ll be walked through the steps to make a Christmas ornament or a bowl…you choose the colors. The next day you’ll pick up your creation and you’ll have a treasure to remind you of the good time you had. Highly recommend.”

“Visited the River Gallery with my wife during a vacation. It was amazing, probably the highlight of the trip for me. I usually think of art galleries as snobby and like I need to seem like I know stuff about art to fit in, but it was a very welcoming place. The lady who welcomed us in was extremely kind and helpful.I'm very interested in pottery and loved getting to see the handmade work there. The artists' work is fantastic and we left with 2 pieces, a mug and a dish, to take home to draw inspiration from.Great gallery, highly highly recommend.”

“So lovely! Don't miss it. I think it's the best part of Chattanooga. Park the car and just wander. If you see water or the end of a street, just walk to it and you'll discover hidden art, sculptures, beautiful walkways, short staircases...you might even see bakers doing their magic in the pastry kitchen. Stop at Rembrandts coffee and sit/ relax under the trellis. Head over to the art museum area and see more sculptures there. Admire the architecture of 3 buildings of the museum. Keep walking and you'll head towards a pedestrian bridge. Keep going, explore and marvel!”
“Stopped by Gallery 1401 today looking for a gift for my wife, and was so impressed with the mix of artists represented in this Chattanooga gem.
