I placed an order online, got a txt saying the order was ready. Using the app, I selected I was on my way. Got to the store, entered a parking spot. Over the course of the next 40 minutes, after waving down one of the guys bringing others orders out, I'm told they are repicking items. 10 minutes later I wave another kid down, he doesn't know what the problem is (at least he did go look for it). 10 mins later that kid comes back with my order, he said he had to go pull it because all of the others had gone to lunch :( While waiting I called the number on the sign in my parking space, recording says no one was there after 6. I called the local number, I selected the option for online orders, 50 rings later, it went to electronics . They tried to give me the phone number on the sign, ha! I asked for a manager, the phone rang for the next 20 minutes, I hung up upon returning home. On top of that fiasco, My order is missing items. And to think I was going this route, for the convenience :(

The Walmart pick order in the parking lot is horrible. They slowest department I've been to. You can expect to wait for your order atleast 40 minutes. I'm an uber driver and I've had to cancel my pick up here the past 5 times.

This Walmart was ALOT cleaner than Walmarts we have in Cali. The isles weren't all blocked off with U-boats and pallets all over the place. I had to use the Walmart app to find what I was looking for. I did self checkout which was quick n easy, no long lines.

Came to town for a few days. First stop, Walmart, of course. This is one of the nicest stores I've been to. They had everything we needed. All the name brands stuff we were looking for. The service at self check out wasn't the best. Very laxed. Even though there were only 1 or 2 people checking out and 3 employees. Good store. Nice presentation. We visited 3-4 times in a week.

When are you going to replace your shopping carts? They are nasty, rusted, bent, square wheels, dirty - all of them. They are disgusting to put groceries in. Please update your game!

This Walmart doesn't know how to fill substitutions on orders. They are all rude if you shop in the store. I have a Walmart+ order that has been delayed for 8+ hours. Why offer a timeframe and then not fill it in a timely manner? Even the cable company doesn't do that anymore. Terrible

New to the area and used the grocery pickup for the first time. My order was scheduled to be picked up between 1-2 and I arrived at 1:35 and waited an hour for them to bring out my groceries!!!! Several cars came after me and left before me. Called the number to confirm and they had it. Ridiculous! I could've shopped and been out faster. Never using this Walmart again! It should get zero stars!

This is for the vision center. I got a call on Tuesday my glasses were ready I said I would come down that day and get them. He said he was booked and I had to have an appointment. My next day off was Saturday. So I arrive a couple minutes early on Saturday for my appointment. The is a guy standing there and the tech is on the phone. He is the only guy I have seen working there so I guess he is the guy who called me to schedule my required appointment. So the tech hangs up the phone asks this guy if he can help. He said he called this morning about an issue with his glasses and was told to come in. He tells the guy to have seat and he'd be glad to help so at after about 10 minutes I just told everyone in earshot that I would call to reschedule my 1100 appointment. Apparently not everyone is required to have an appointment and when you are required to make an appointment walkins have priority.

Walmart, get your head out of your ass. Not everyone can "scan and go". I am a business and can't get here before noon when you have real people checking people out. So when you go completely scan and go, I have to pay double sales tax (18.50%). Even your "customer service" is closed. Finding someone to help is near impossible. When you do, they are irritated. Horrible business model but you get away with it because you can.

This store is consistently a mess- really disorderly with a lot of shelves half empty. It's like they don't have enough people just stocking and organizing. I won't be coming back if I can avoid it, I'll stick to the one on Signal Mountain Rd.

Today was a bad experience at this walmart. I have to go the pick up route because of how busy I am. I check in on my app right when I park and even call the number on the sign to check in. I sit there for about 10 minutes, which is fine they were busy. And a lady came up to me and asked what my name was, she was having trouble locating it. I gave her my information and she said she would go get it. Another 10 minutes go by, still waiting. Then her colleague comes up and asked me my name, still trouble locating it. Then 5 minutes later, the lady comes back up and tells me that they gave my groceries to someone else. I had 2 bottles of champagne. Aren't you supposed to ID people who buy alcohol? How could you not notice it wasnt the right name? I was given a choice to either get my money back or pick it up tomorrow. Waste of my time.this store will never get my business after this. I hope whoever got my groceries is not a minor.

My sister bought a lawnmower. Box was open and she asked If it had been used and they replied it could have been returned or box was damaged. When she got it home oil was everywhere inside the box. It had been used. Smell of gas in gas tank. Grass on bottom so IT HAD BEEN USED. She wrote a complaint on the Wal-Mart site and Wal-Mart corporation replied "this does not sound right". Nice of them doubting her word !! @walmart

Look, I don't wanna be a hypocrite, I have a dichotomous/love-hate relationship with Walmart. I hate it, but yet, I can go there and pretty much get all my shopping done in one place. Yeah, I do spread the money around. I shop at the fru-fru grocer and spend $100 on a half paper poke (bag) just to make myself feel good that I'm supporting local. I also go to Target-Ole' and Publix and Food City. I also go to the Mall. So, I do spread the money around. However, I do find myself going to Walmart, not just any Walmart, but the Super Walmart nearest where I live, the one in Hixson at Hwy 153. The reason I go there most times lately is name and face recognition. I go to Walmart mostly at night between 8P and 10:30P. I'm usually there to pick up several edibles and maybe some cat food or treats or litter. Most times I go there, there is at least one friendly stocker (please forgive me if this is not the correct or most up-to-date term for people who stock shelves) I recognize, and even if I don't have a need to go down the isle he is stocking, I wave and smile. He always waves and smiles back with enthusiasm. In and of itself, yeah, it's not a big deal to have interaction with one or more employees when you frequent a place to shop. But, ya know, that is probably what keeps me going there more often instead of Target or Publix, which are closer to where I live. That small amount of interaction with someone I only know by name because it is on his name tag -- and I'm sure he hasn't a clue what my name is -- but just because there is a small amount of recognition that I exist and that one or two people recognize I have been there before, and I'm now back -- keeps me going there, when I have other choices. Indulge me for a moment as I tell you about when I worked for Sam Walton's company. I worked at Walmart back when Mr. Sam was still around. This was back in the 1980's. Mr. Sam was known to drop in to a Walmart driving his older Ford pickup truck and wearing blue jeans, a tee-shirt and hat. One time he did just that, and it was like a segment of "Undercover Boss" gone bad. He [Mr. Sam Walton] walked in to a Walmart where no one knew him. He was dressed in his street clothes -- kind of tattered, but not disgusting or anything. He was NEVER a flashy man. Always a very humble, yet shrewd man. Mr. Sam walked in and he was treated rudely by an employee. He immediately asked for the manager. The manager was quickly apprised of who he was, and Mr. Sam Walton demanded the whole store be shut down. The store was closed for several days. Many of the employees were fired. He [Mr. Sam] did not re-open the doors until he'd gotten new employees -- employees that knew about customer service and knew how to paint on a smile. When I think of this young man at this Hwy 153 Walmart I frequent as of late, I think of this Mr. Sam story, and I think, if Mr. Sam were alive today, and was out bird hunting in this area (he loved to bird hunt...especially in north Georgia), and dipped into this store and ran across this young man, and saw how this young man has a smile for everyone and is helpful and cheerful, I'm most assured, Mr. Sam would demand that young man be promoted to a position in management. This young man embodies the type of character and personality that ol' Mr. Sam wanted to see in his Walmart employees. It's the same kind of character and personality most of us want to be greeted with. Now, don't let me just gush on just this one young man, there are plenty of other good employees at this location! This is but one example. I've also encountered a few cashiers and other stockers that exhibit these same qualities. And, even though I have that dichotomous relationship with Walmart, because of this one person that waves/smiles, and sometimes engages in some small talk as I shop, I will continue to go back there -- whether I just need one or two items, or if I need a whole buggy full of stuff.

We all know Wal Mart but have not been in the Hixson one in a long time. Must have 20 self checkout stations and only THREE cashiers and as you can imagine, the wait was long to check out. I don't work for Wal Mart so why would I do their job as a cashier. If I want to be my own cashier I will use Amazon and if I want to bag my own groceries I will go to Aldi's. I will go to WM again but if I have to wait 15 minutes to check out I will leave my cart at the door.

Usually this Walmart is good on Walmart standards, but today I went to CS because I got a product at a different Walmart months ago (deodorant) and I just now opened it up and it's a used DO of a different less expensive brand. So I went in. I was told they can't do anything. There goes $11 deodorant, instead I have $2.99 used deodorant. Lesson learned the hard way: just go to Target. I'll buy junky stuff or things locked in cases at Walmart, but no more personal hygiene (as I normally stock up for a few months while I'm there) or food (I've had a similar experience with food here). Target for life
