If you’re looking for small engine repair this is the place to go. Owning my own shop for 15 years James is what you look for in a mechanic. He’s personable, the work is done in a very timely manner, correct, clean, and fairly priced. Two thumbs up.

I have used Mr West now for three projects, two mowers and a gas edger. He explained what he was going to do, had everything fixed in a very timely manner, and was very reasonable priced. An honest businessman that is not trying to get one over on you. As long as I have work to be done and he's still in business, I will be bringing all my equipment to him. Highly recommend.

Mr. James is the absolute best. I tried every small engine places in the Jackson area to fix my son's go cart and he was the only one who took the job. Very fast, efficient, constantly kept in contact. I can't say enough great things about West small engine. He went above and beyond for me. Would refer anyone needing small engine repair to call this man first! Heck of a guy

Great place to have your lawn equipment work on fixed or repaired. String trimmers blowers push mowers riding mowers and tillers. Mr.West is great at what he does.

I had lawnmower blades I couldn't break free. It was not easy but after several attempts they came loose and he did it for no charge even though it took some extra time! He's def got my business for future issues. If you have small engine needs take them here. Thank you.

I have used other small engine services over the many years but none like West Small Engines. Mr West is very knowledgeable, informative, & personable. After just a few minutes of talking with him I felt like we had none each other a very long time. I’m very glad I found this company - just sad I didn’t find him sooner. I definitely recommend him for taking care of your small engine repairs.

I rarely write reviews, but i have looked for a while for someone to fix my lawnmower when a friend gave me James #. I would recommend West small engines to anyone that needs small engine repairs. James was very informative about what was going on with my mower. He called before fixing it to let me know what was wrong & how much it was going to cost to fix it. If you like dealing with honest people that do a good job then James @ West small engines is the man to deal with.

This one of the best experiences I've had at buying something from someone he was super nice and waited on me to get there very good person the mower I bought is super nice and he made sure everything was good to go before selling it I highly highly recommend him to anyone and everyone please do your self a favor and call him good people are hard to find he will be serviceing the mower I bought

Called James right before closing time and he walked me through the problem over the phone which saved me time and money. He even text me afterwards to make sure I was doing ok. Honest man. I’ll do business with him every time.
