BEWARE! READ BELOW FOR MOST RECENT INFORMATION! Ive been doing business here for 20 years however since the owner died. His son and his wife has let this place run down. They now will tear your vehicle up! They did an oil change and striped out my oil plug and ruined the pan and left the undercover loose which ruined it! Only thing he offered to do to fix the situation was to remove the rest of the undercover. I then had a flat. They sealed the tire. Lost my lug nut lock, lost the bmw cap and messed up my TPM!! They also told me my back axal was loose and needed replacemnt i got a second and third mechanic to inspect and there was NO problem at all. This man has ruined what his father built! He does not have the same respect for customers. Nor does his employees have the same workmanship. Ill never step foot back into this business nor do I recommend it to anyone else!! I try to support locally owned businesses but this one will never get my $$ again!

They lied to me about my tie rods being loose. I came to get an alignment they told me about an “inspection fee” that is $25. So they tried to charge me 600 all together for tie rods and then wheel alignment after and I told them no. So I got a second look at them from an honest mechanic who is not trying to screw me and he said they were fine and don’t need replaced.

I would like to share a negative experience I had today. I was having tires put on a vehicle at Goodyear in Jackson. I normally get my tires at Stegall's tires on Royal street in Jackson but the tires for my vehicle are hard to find and Stegall's sometimes don't have them available. The recommended size for t my vehicle is 225-65-16. However, Stegall's have substituted 205-65-16 instead in the past and they work just fine. Stegall's have of course been in business over 50 years, so they know tire, period. Goodyear called me yesterday and said that the 225-65-16 that I had ordered were currently unavailable so I requested them use the 205-65-16 if those were available instead. The guy on the phone said sure and he would leave a note for the attendants today. However, when I get there the personal said he remembers the note and was reading up on it and them proceeded to tell me he had to come out to the vehicle to verify what is the recommended tire size. I sternly asserted that no he did not because I have had the 205-65-16 on the vehicle before and they have worked fine because Stegall's had put them on there. I knew that the manufacturer recommendation were only the 225-65-16. There are no other sizes stated. And when I Googled it they only show that the 225-65-16 were the only ones that will work. That's a load of hogwash. And when I refused to accept his terms while I was asserting my position (all be it with my voice raised because he wanted to keep arguing with me) and mind you I wasn't raising my voice no where as loud as I could have, refused to service me, and threw me out. That's not how you run a business. He said that he would not allow any one to talk to him that way for he is an adult and he would be respected. But what about respecting me to have an intelligent mind to know what I need and want. When an adult throws a fit like a child how else would he expected to be treated. True I probably was more childish than I should have been, but I never used any profane words, or demeaned him in any way. I just raised my voice a little to assert my position. I will also state he never used any profanity either. But in a way he disrespected me and my intelligence when he was basically saying that an inanimate object knew better than I did about what tires are supposed to be installed on it. He was saying the vehicle was more intelligent than I was, in a round about way. I will never do business with anyone other than Stegall's. They don't dictate to you. They respect your wishes and works with the customer, as long as the requests are reasonable, and my wanting 205-65-16 instead of 225-65-16 since they were available was being unreasonable, at least I think so. Plus Stegall's is always cheaper than any place I have been. Plus they always give you free rotation with sets of tire that are purchased through them. So I immediately went to Stegall's after being thrown out by Goodyear. Thank God for he is Good. They had brand new 225-65-16 available today and on sale at that. Needless to say the tires and installation fee is substantially lower than if things had worked out at Goodyear. God is faithful because he knew a better deal and service was waiting for me at Stegall's all along. I will never go anywhere else. And I hope you consider how you are being treated where you get tires. Are you sure you are getting the best deal?
