“I took my cat Darth Tater in on the 12th for a declaw appointment and picked him up on the 13th. My boyfriend and I put a lot of thought into doing this and Deming Vet services was the first place I called not knowing if they offered the service I was looking for or not. They were prompt to set me up an appointment as soon as they could. I can tell the staff took very good care of him as he seems to be in no pain and is so happy to be home and healing well. “We had to bring our sweet Memphis in this past Sunday due to an emergency. To make a long story short, they got her feeling better till we could get to her usual vet. Unfortunately, it came down to her being in renal failure. We still have time left, but not much. I wanted to leave a review though because from the moment the phone call was placed, to services being given, we were treated with nothing but kindness and compassion from reception to the vet. It's comforting know there is a group of people who remained calm for us while we were worried. Thank you for all you did for us.

“I have recently moved to Tennessee. I have five pets and have been to this clinic numerous times in the last six months. Dr. Schmidt is my primary veterinarian but I have also seen Dr. Nichols. I have found both veterinarians and the vet techs to be extremely competent and caring. Since I order prescription dog and cat food, I interact with Melinda and Chelsea a lot and that interaction has been a pleasure. They are extremely helpful, caring, and go out of their way to make sure that I get what I need in products and appointments. I am very happy with this veterinary practice.
Above was my review nine years ago. I have used this practice ever since. During the 10 years that I have lived here, the people who work here have been through everything with me and my pets - regular wellness exams, dentistry, surgery and serious health conditions and ultimately loss. I have primarily seen Dr Fleming and Dr. Schmidt. Dr Fleming for my cats and Dr. Schmidt for my dogs. Each was backup to the other when necessary. Now that Dr. Smith is semi retired, Dr. Nichols has also seen my pets on days that Dr. Schmidt or Dr . Fleming was not in the office. I have lived in five states and this practice is by far the best veterinary practice that I have ever used. And that assessment includes everyone in the practice over the years: the receptionists, the nurses, and the doctors. When you are dealing with a dying pet, especially , you need receptionists that understand the urgency of your call that can get you in to see the doctor as soon as possible and who can pass on messages quickly and correctly. You need competent nurses assisting the doctors and doing injections and inserting catheters and that can answer questions and keep you updated on procedures. And you need doctors that are smart, compassionate, and help you to come to a decision on euthanasia and then ensure that your pet passes peacefully and without pain or fear. I would recommend them without reservation.
