All I needed to do was talk to a human. So I called them and sat on the phone waiting for half an hour going through prompts that had nothing to do with why I called. This is one of about 500 reasons why this agency which continually asks for billions of dollars from us while not being able to answer the phone or provide basic services should be cut. Called
FedEx and was talking to human in under 5. AND...they don't waste my tax money

I am leaving one star for my mail delivery person. Not the in office. But the woman who delivers my mail. Every time I order something she doesn’t even attempt to bring it to my porch or knock on the door or anything she just puts a slip inside my mailbox saying sorry we miss you or you have a lock box so you have to come to the post office to get it. It is her job to deliver the mail and if it is a package then she needs to bring it to the porch like any other mail carrier has ever done for me. She is too lazy to get out of her vehicle to do HER job. I work night shift during the weekdays and have kids in school so I don’t have time to go to the post office every time I get a package.

Theres a lovely brown headed woman that's always the kindest, that I usually get to speak to when I buy my stamp books, makes my post office trips easier considering I suffer with anxiety TERRIBLY. on the down side theres a not so pleasant blonde woman that probably didn't notice , but she made me head straight back home when she was a bit rude. I'm sure it wasn't intentional. All together I love this post office and it has been a part of my family for quite sometime.

Jasper, TN has the BEST Post Office in the USA! Above and beyond, always friendly. Our mail carrier is wonderful, all of the counter staff are great.One example - on a Saturday I needed a package from Amazon, the Amazon truck arrived after all the morning carriers had left for home deliveries, the office staff went in and pulled my item PLUS 2 others addressed to me (the other 2 were expected on Monday's delivery) off the truck and made sure I had them for my trip.Robin, Brown, Whitney, and everyone there are as nice as any people you will ever meet. They truly want to help everyone.

When I had to return a cable tv converter the Jasper Post office went above and beyond in dealing with them.They somehow simplified what was potentially a complicated process.Thank you

I'm not leaving a two-star for the in store workers. Everyone who works inside this post office is extremely friendly and helpful. I'm leaving a two star because of my mail carrier. I have lived at my current address for about 6 months now and every time I order anything I have to go to the post office to pick it up. I always find a little pink slip in my mailbox saying "sorry we missed you" even when I'm literally sitting on my couch. Redelivery is never an option either. They do not even attempt to drop off any of my packages. They just put a slip in the mailbox and leave. Today was my breaking point. I have a package that says "a delivery attempt was made" but I have absolutely no slip in my mailbox saying that the mail person was even here. I've been in my living room all day without seeing anyone pull up. I'm absolutely sick of the mail carrier in Jasper! I understand things are hard right now with covid but I don't understand why I literally never received my mail.
