The Carnegie Hotel is a historic hidden gem, offering a charming and classic atmosphere that feels like a step back in time. The hotel is quiet, clean, and well-maintained, with very comfortable and lovely rooms. Accommodations are large and spacious, some furnished with luxury and subtle hints of the building's past. Guests describe the beds as amazing and the rooms as having a beautiful smell. The staff receives consistent praise, noted as incredibly nice, helpful, and providing extraordinary customer service. The hotel features a cool bar with warm leather and great cocktails, a perfect pool for a hot day, and very good food. Parking is easy in the garage with quick elevator access. While not very modern and with no great views, the well-kept, charming property with its beautiful windows and classic feel earns high recommendations. Many guests state they will only stay here when in Johnson City.
A hidden gem! The rooms were very comfortable. I loved the decor. It felt like I took a step back in time- and I was here for it!

If I could give hundred stars, I happily would. What an amazing hotel, clean rooms, beautiful smell, amazing beds, extraordinary customer service and very good food.

Historic hotel and modern. Rooms are large and furnished in luxury. Staff was helpful and pool was perfect for a hot July day. Cool bar with warm leather and great cocktails. Will only stay here when in JC moving forward -
