The facility is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is large, so even when it is busy you can navigate it fairly well and do your routine. The classes they offer are free to members and always well done.

Amazing gym with very helpful staff. I have never had any problems but the small ones I have had, people have been very kind and helped me through.

This is a very nice facility but it is also crowded when I come in around 4:30 p.m. Parking is difficult to find. They do have a lot of equipment so you usually don't have to wait much for the machines.

Home to Campus Recreation at East Tennessee State University, the Wayne G. Basler Center for Physical Activity (CPA) offers a variety of both indoor and outdoor facilities to ETSU students, faculty and staff. Find your recreational passion in one of our five diverse recreational programming areas: Aquatics, Fitness & Wellness, Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, and Outdoor Adventure. Non-Credit Instruction is also offered by certified trainers, as well as facility times dedicated to self-directed recreational activities.
