This store said you cannot buy a Tomato, taco seasoning or frozen pizza with EBT benefits and charged Cash for them. I was with my Granddaughter at the time who is the benefit card owner. She had a baby in the car so I went in the store to see why she was as charged cash for the items. The store manager was less than helpful. He said all I could do it return the the items. These are items that are regularly purchased with EBT in the Elizabethton Ingles and every other store in the area! The store manager was totally indifferent. Very worst customer service in a grocery store ever!

All of the pharmacists are very friendly and professional. The best pharmacy I’ve used! I’ve been going to Ingles Pharmacy for 5-6 months, sometimes several times a month, and a single bad experience yet.

So I was told my prescription could not be transferred because the other pharmacy would not answer even though they answered right away when I called and Walmart had zero issues transferring it to them. Very lazy and unprofessional. There are several pharmacies that treat customers with respect but this is not one of them.

We are very disappointed with this store. Even though we are staying right by this store, we try to get to Publix in Johnson City as much as possible. Ingles is ALWAYS out of stock on almost everything we purchased before coming here. Very friendly employees. But we are camping and had to go there every few days, until we discovered Publix. Fruit rots within a couple of days from Kroger, they can't or won't order something for you. Florida did this at every request. We decided to purchase a home in Gray because we feel safer and Publix is close. Not trying to throw Ingles under the bus, however I hope this review helps them to see how others may feel.

when i went to ingles today, i saw that nearly no one was wearing a mask. I feel as though ingles should be stricter on their mask rules. not only are they endangering their employees they're also endangering their customers.

Upon deciding what deli meat I would like to have on my 12 in sub I decided on cappicolla...the lady making the sub had to have it cut... she came back with approximately 5 thin slices of the deli meat... I thought their must have been a mistake.... she.then told me that they allow 1.5 oz of meat per every 6 inches of sub roll....to me this seems a bit skimpy...when I decided to have a sub for supper I wanted more than bread and veggies....looks like it's Jimmy John's from here forward...lol

Normally great customer service but today they failed. This is what we saw, but when they rang up at $3.98 each, a manager was called. His excuse was that the person working on the display did not take down last week's sign and put up the correct one. He should have honored the posted price.

The worst Starbucks in Johnson City. Hoping that the attitude and demeanor of the kids that work there doesn't carry over to the grocery store.

I have started shopping exclusively at Ingles. I am Vegan and they bring in more and more hard to find vegan items. It's also an Asheville based company so I can get my Asheville favorites like No Evil Foods and Roots Hummus. Just today I found Nate's Meatballs. I have been searching all over JC for these.
