Online from Penneys I ordered a pair of Lapis earrings along with 2 bras. Items were not shipped together. Decided to keep the bras but return the earrings as the color was too dark. Finally got time to go to local Penneys to return them- was directed to the fine jewelry department. The sales associate was very nice and spent a good deal of time on the register computer trying to find the transaction. I had the slip that was enclosed with the earrings but she could not get the numbers to work. She called the manager who questioned her as to what was going on and the manager curtly told me there was nothing they could do. So much for customer service. I will keep the earrings but avoid shopping JCPenney in the future.

Today we had an exchange and a return to do. When we walked in we met a younger employee that directed us where to go. At the return counter we met DJ she is absolutely amazing. She helped us through the whole process. She knew where everything was in the store and that was a big help in finding the one item we needed in the end. Once we were ready she processed everything quickly. It was a simple process with DJ's help and we appreciated that. Thanks for being so nice and making us want to come back.

I actually went to take back a diamond necklace and ear ring set that 647.00 and had decided I wanted to trade it for a ring and some ear rings! The sells lady Lori was very rude to me, she acted like I stole something,I ask if I could get the remaining balance on a gift card because didn't have the card on me that I'd used the night before.I had just returned some lipstick in beauty department,same scenario and the lady that helped me was glad to put that on a gift card for me. So, Lori obviously lied to me. And jcpenny lost a big sale!!!! Because what I wanted to trade the ear ring and necklace for was gonna equal the value of what I had originally got!!!I I still can not understand why she would not exchanged my stuff she gave us a refund but I will NEVER buy from jcpenny again.I hate that so much because I always buy my jewelry from there. She is NOT a good people person at all, I don't like to think of somebody not having a job especially now with I flation but co.w on, the lady that originally sold me the set,now she can sell some jewelry!!!!! Im sorry to leave such a bad review but this woman really made me madd°°°

Sunday morning, quiet shopping before noon. Store was orderly with the exception of one section in fashion jewelry .. it looks like someone had opened every boxed set. I don't blame the employees I really thinksome customers should shop with their own personal servants to clean up after them.The 5 employees I interacted with were all friendly, and helpful.
