I called ahead to check if they had the umbrellas they were giving away and they were very helpful and kind. When I got to the store I was unable to pull up my code because my internet service hasn't been working well and I need to replace my phone so he still allowed me to take one. I really appreciated that as we do not have a store in our location anymore and I just happen to be up there for a doctor's appointment.

Several years ago they were running an ad for four free phones and four lines for $100/month, unlimited everything. My family decided to jump on this deal, and they accommodated us further by allowing us to add an additional line for only another $25/month and we had to buy the phone (and we were able to make payments on it).
We have had this same plan, completely unaltered by us or them, for I want to say a good 4-5 years now, and we love it. It's such an affordable plan for five people with unlimited everything for $125/month and they don't change it up on us or jack up the cost over time or anything like that. Getting a new phone with them is hassle-free.
If you buy the phone there in the store they will do all of the transferring between old and new phones right then. When my daughter bought an unlocked iPhone from Best Buy, she paid $40 for the geek squad to do all that and and it turned out they couldn't move actual service between the phones (annoying because that was the very reason we went to the geek squad was to get the phone operational before we left). We took it to the metro store and they completed the process for us and got her service transferred with no problem, and were friendly about it.
As far as service goes, none of us has any complaints. We don't experience dropped calls or delayed text messages, they don't throttle our data speeds or any of that other nonsense you might encounter elsewhere.

I have been with MetroPCS for as long as I can remember, I’ve been charged for device change when it was a mistake on there and I wasn’t receiving messages still went down to the place and could not get any kind of help there. Finally I spoke with a supervisor that was going to credit my account for the 50 something dollars that I spent fortunately my call was disconnected and I didn’t even bother to call back because if you don’t get the right person you’re not gonna get anything done. I actually paid my phone bill yesterday which it’s November 25, 2023 but metro PCS is no longer the company that they used to be they would actually work with you and be a lot more understanding but they don’t do that anymore. Every once in a while, you actually get someone that does care I got my account information and a pin so I could switch to AT&T because one of the last people I talk to the one before the last person she just did not care at all. She basically wanted to rush me off the phone and the worst thing that they have is that you cannot talk to customer service from your phone. If your bill is due that is ridiculous I never give reviews. and I hate to give bad reviews, but to be with the company so long and to not be treated like a loyal customer is a slap in the face to me I’ve had cases open and one was supposed to receive calls back never happened. I’ve had managers set me up with a great plan and told me that it would never change and unfortunately a family member made a mistake and got switched back to the same old plan. I had a tablet that got broke within the second week it was supposed to be removed from my line. I never did that so I paid for a tablet for literally probably over a year so hopefully a manager will actually see my review, which I doubt that will not happen and will actually reach out and you know try and make something happen. I mean after being with y’all for so long after my father passed, which I hate to bring this up my phone was off for a little while and in order for me to keep my phone number they told me I had to start my whole plan over so that meant that I was eligible for a new phone. The lady told me that since I had my old Sim card and had it in the phone that we would need to get that text message sent or we would never be able to access my account, but I would be able to go to the store and they could call customer service and we would be able to set it up to where I could. get a new phone because my account had to be a new account which I still don’t understand till this day I’m pretty sure we know what’s coming next._I never got that phone. I went into the store and they looked at me like I was crazy so I’ve been a loyal customer for so long. I always care for lines, one for me and my husband and the other two for my children. and the tablet that I paid for for so long there was never no indication of speaking with anybody that these things were definitely be fixed because they were never fixed and here I am now fixing to move onto a new provider. I pray for your company metro and hopefully you will get. Better employees or begin to hire people that actually care and can give better service. Thanks for all the excellent customer service that I have had in the past. I’m not gonna knock you because the past few years have been not quite so good. Hopefully things get better. God bless.
