Subway is on ETSU's campus. As such, it adheres to campus dining rules, not normal Subway rules. This mainly means that the prices are higher, gift cards cannot be used, and it has very limited hours of service. Service is spotty on friendliness and freshness is 50/50 most of the time.

Ok, I will explain. I used to love Sub Way a lot. They have gone so far down hill I do not eat at any of them anymore. They used to have pretty good quality until about 5 years ago. I do not know if they had to cut corners to remain profitable or not; however, they lost me and my family as customers once they began sacrificing quality.

This was absolutely the worst subway I have ever been too. They didn't have any bread, not enough meat to make a cold cut trio, no tuna and on top of all that the employees were smartasses! They just kept looking at me and snickering telling me to get out of the store. All I wanted to do was feed my family and was going to call the manager to make a complaint about the lack of not only food but help and cooperation from the staff. I highly do not recommend them. Go to the other subway across town it's worth the drive.

The food at this Subway is right on par with every other Subway I have ever eaten at, however the employees there seem inconvienced and bothered that they have to take my order when I arrive. Employees don't receive breaks and have to eat/rest in between customers so maybe they seem miserable because of corporate rules and regulations. When I arrive at a restaurant to place my order I don't want to be feel like they are doing me a favor by taking my order that supports their company and ultimately their chosen occupation. The food was just fine but if your looking for friendly people avoid this Subway.
