Got in a wreck and told the police I was calling AAA for a tow truck. They called this guy anyway and he said it would be 305 dollars. Sign says 110 dollars for the tow and 25 a day. The owner told me 200 for the tow and 50 a day. Total con. He’s willing to rip off customers.

Horrible!!! This tow company takes total advantage of people in vulnerable situations!! My daughter was in an accident due to icy roads and these jerks told her $300 cash only. Then when he got it to her home changed it to $350. Who has that kind of cash?? They live out in no where. Only car on the tow truck. So then they take it back to JC and charged $450 to get it back. According to the guy $250 to tow, $100 to winch and $50 a day for storage. They had it a little longer then 24hours. Not 2 days. What a crock. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people that need help!!! Not to mention a picture from another review shows $25 a day for storage. They are liars and steal people's cars!!!

Absolute TRASH and a complete scam! Same story as everyone else. Parked downtown, with unclear signage, ate dinner and came back to my daughter’s car towed. Call the number and was told to walk 12 blocks away and bring cash only. The tow truck drivers came back and were towing another car. They told us the same thing. We asked if the walk was safe because we were 2 females alone from out of town and were told “yes, it’s very safe”. So we walked to a bank to get cash then walked to the impound lot. The walk was between abandoned buildings and railroad tracks and the lot is under an overpass. Once there we called again asking where the building was and was told there is no building but the tow truck would be there soon. So my daughter and I stood in a terrible part of town waiting for the tow truck to return. Once they were there, he wouldn’t open the gate until I paid him the cash. Truly one of the worst experiences and should definitely be reported to someone.

One Star is FAR too many stars for this so called business! My car was totaled in an accident and this was the company the JC Police called to come get it. After my car had sat at their lot for a week, the ins. said we needed to remove it to our home. We called to have it towed to our house and we were told that A) The bill would have to be paid in full IN CASH (no cards or checks) at the time of delivery and B) they had NO IDEA how much we owed, not even a ball park figure. Evidently most people have ATMs in their homes to be able to just produce an undisclosed amount in the moment. When we protested this, we were told to just hire another company to come get it and go to the office to pay the bill. Which is what we did. When I went to the office to pay the bill, I was treated with so much disrespect i could hardly believe it. I was told to "check my attitude" when I asked how much we owed. I was told I was the "rudest person" he had ever come across and that he hoped that I treated other people better than him or else I lived in a sad sorry world. I paid the bill (which was outrageous and I am certain was jacked up due to him being mad at me,) and left. Upon getting home to upload the receipts to the ins company, I noticed that the hand written receipt and the credit card receipt (they take cards at the office) were slightly different so I called to ask why. I was again yelled at and sworn at. When i asked to please not be treated like a child i was told that if he were MY child, he would " gladly blow my own f***ing head off." I hung up on him. When our other tow company showed up, he refused to release the car because he said there was a problem with the bill. I called him and threatened to call the Police if he didn't release the car in 30 seconds, the bill was paid in full. After more yelling and swearing, he finally released the car and that was the end. I could NOT believe I was treated so incredibly rudely and feel 100% certain that this so called man would never have talked to another man the way he spoke to me. I do NOT understand why this company is even on the list of companies that the Police use at the scene of accidents. They should be out of business and never allowed to have anything to do with the public again. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST. Obviously since there are so many other negative reviews, they don't care at all. But if we can spare someone else the horror of dealing with these people it is worth it.

In my opinion, this is a criminal enterprise. Our car was parked in an unclearly marked area and we were gone less than 5 minutes. When we returned our car had been towed. 2 individuals in a tow truck quickly showed up to the lot to tow more cars. They accept payment only in cash (requires walking to the bank to get cash and hope you have your bank card with you) and require you to walk on unsafe streets to get to their location. The individuals were extremely unpleasant and spent all their time smoking in their van. Very unprofessional. Considering that there are many people in the world who are starving, the fact that this organization goes around looking for ways to cheat hard working families out of their hard earned money is absolutely criminal. All because of a parking space. Unacceptable and unprofessional.Service: Car towing

10 months ago I had a horrible experience with this rude, unprofessional company. Once again, this company is a disappointment. A dear friend of mine, who fell on some hard times, and was living in his car, broke down so his car was towed. The driver stood and degraded and made fun of him as he got some of his belongings out of his vehicle. These guys mothers did a shitty job. My children would lay down beside someone who was down....not stand over and kick them. I'm your mother's didn't love you even to teach you to be a decent human being. Karma is rough though..... But the good Lord handles things even better.

I parked in a permit spot. My fault but that’s not my issue with these guys. I was cleaning windows across the street when he hooked my car up. I ran up and ask him why he was hooking my car up. This is when I realized my mistake. I asked him what I needed to do and he threw a business card at me and said it’s going to a lot 20 minute walk that way pointing towards the interstate. I wasn’t given any option to resolve the issue on the spot. So I carry all of my equipment a quarter of a mile to their lot and I’m told it’ll be $180 cash only to get my car. I only had $130 in cash so I had to walk a mile and half to my bank. 3 and half hours later I received my car. He acted like he was my best friend once I pulled the cash out but he wasn’t willing to save me all that walking and let me pay before he towed itService: Car towing

I am not surprised reading the reviews for this company, they should receive 0 stars. My daughter was parked in a visitor spot at University Edge Apartments. It was acknowledged by the office that she was NOT illegally parked and should NOT have been towed. Yet she was by cut rate towing. Such a scam they have going, easy way to make $180 from a young female with no option other than to pay to get her vehicle back. The guy who met us to get the car out said we were lied to about it being a visitor spot. Really, because I went and looked my self and it is clearly marked as visitor parking. And again, the office CONFIRMED it is a visitor spot. My husband owns a very reputable auto repair shop in town and I work for a very large property management company in this area, two businesses that use towing companies frequently and we will make sure this is NOT one of them.Service: Car towing

These people are vultures. My family was in downtown Johnson City for dinner. Granted we did park in the wrong spot and did not properly read the signs. I suppose we deserved to be towed or ticketed. That's not the issue. The problem I have with these people is the amount they charge for towing a vehicle less than 1/4 mile and impoundment. They also circle the downtown area just looking for someone's misfortune so they can make a quick buck. They left my wife and son stranded in a bad section of town on one of the worste nights to be there.OH and they only take cash. Why? Because I guarantee they aren't reporting cash receipts to the IRS. I asked for a receipt but was told they don't provide those. I bet the driver is even pocketing some of the money. That's why a simple tow fee cost almost $200.And yes I know I should watch where I park and I was in the wrong. I admit that. My issue is the shady and overpriced fees they charge. That's all right though. What comes around goes around. The Tax Man cometh. All these new agents we just hired will be put to good useService: Car towing

This company is nothing but a sleezy cash grab that puts women's safety at risk and avoids taxes. This company towed two vehicles from downtown areas that were not clearly marked and then held the cars hostage of three vulnerable females until past 10:30pm. Insisted that they only pay cash and walk to the lot. They had zero concern that there were senior, handicapped individuals incapable of making the 15 min walk down dark streets. I will be making formal complaints with the City board, Better Business Bureau, Secretary of State, and the IRS for business practice violations and tax evasion. For their sake, I hope the $320 they recieved was properly reported. I will also seek information regarding any ties of this towing company to any elected officials or city staff that profit from this scheme. This company is a disgusting representation of our fine city and should be purged.
