By far the most pleasant and probably cleanest post office I’ve ever been to. I was visiting the area from Tampa, Florida and down there everyone who works at the post office seems to be having a bad day and is quite irritable. Not the case at all here! Two very nice gentlemen were working the counter, and one shipped my package and mailed out several letters for me. I wish this were my local post office. :)

Everything I’ve ordered package wise has resulted in some sort of complication. If not for insurance on my deliveries I wouldn’t be able to order anything. Who needs to gamble when you have your local post office.

The folks working here are helpful and friendly. I've never had an issue with a package here and I ship out about twenty or more a week. Seems like a lot of the bad ratings come from people confused about the local post office vs USPS in general.I appreciate the hard work from the team at Gray USPS!

Postmaster not helpful at all. Needed a box to ship an item. Was not willing to help at all. Had to drive to Johnson City to another post office. I understand why everyone has stopped using post office. If I had not already paid for shipping I would have used UPS. Post office in JC employees very helpful and got what I needed.

They are nothing but thieves. They "lost" 20 packages and now we're out 500 dollars. And they won't do anything. The tracking numbers magically don't work now! Do not use this post office!

We ordered photos and it says in BIG LETTERS on the front DO NOT BEND - PHOTOS INSIDE ... well guess what the carrier did? Bent it and crammed it in our mailbox........

Mail delivery is the worse I have ever encounter. My mail is sometimes delivered in someone's else mail box. I have missed some very important documents because of poor delivery. They are in such a hurry they drive out of this community like they don't care what they did wrong. Another I still get mail from previous renters. Mail carriers apparently can't read.

Faster to send mail through your personal mailbox. I have had several instances where letters or packages sent though this place have either never arrived at their intended destination, or arrived weeks (not days) later. I would suspect theft. Also the customer service people are rude and sarcastic.

Exceptionally helpful and usually not crowded. My favorite post office.

At my recent bridal shower, I animatedly told a story about a negative (reoccurring) experience at a local post office. Three hands in the crowd shot up, “Let me guess, the GRAY post office?†Another girl screams, “It's GRAY! I hate that place!†Another laughs and says, “I drive all the way to North Carolina twice weekly to avoid going into that specific post office.â€

Carrier doesn't attempt to deliver “signed for†packages. Just leaves a notice in the box. Each time, I make an extra effort to be home to sign for packages and the carrier can't find the effort to knock on the door?! Ridiculous. However, the guys at the counter are fantastic and will do whatever they can to fix their employer's mistakes (which is only so much). I think the problem seems to be USPS as a whole.

If any person actually works during the day you can't do anything because they're hours are worse than bankers hours. You're only open from 10-4:30? That's a joke.

Always be nice to the people that work here. This location is open 24/7 for the drop boxes and PO boxes that are located here. Don't Litter keep this place nice. And by this place I mean our country we live in.
