Winged Deer Park is a nice public park with many different areas devoted to different needs for the community. It is an excellent complex for softball and baseball tournaments, with good fields, great concessions, and easy parking. The park is well-kept and well-maintained, offering nearly everything for individuals and families to do. Activities include hiking, walking, disc golf, basketball, fishing, and watching events like cross-country meets or wakeboard competitions. There are multiple playgrounds, including a large waterfront one, and plenty of picnic areas with tables and sheds. The park provides lots of shade, good dugouts, and turf fields with great views of the mountains. Restrooms are clean and available in the walking track and lakefront areas. It is a dog-friendly park with many adhering to leash laws. Some visitors note it would be nice to have more bathroom stalls due to growth and hope for larger crowds or more concession options at events. Overall, it is a great place where you can spend an hour or a full day.
