I will preface this with I have never walked into this establishment and because of what I’m about to share, I never will.
I had parked across from the shop to visit Buzzed wings. I realized that I was in a 20 minute parking zone, so I moved in the 2 hour parking spot which happened to be in front of Packet N Post.
I noticed a woman walking out of the store and looked like she was saying something to me. I roll my window down and ask “were you taking to me?” Her response was “why aren’t you staying where you were? Why are you parking in front of my store?” I informed her that it is a 20 minute parking, and she rolled her eyes and continued to rudely speak to me saying “No it’s not!” Then she went back inside. She had no idea where I was headed to shop. It could have been her shop! I cannot believe how rude she was. To run out of her shop to yell at a stranger with kids to tell me to risk parking in a marked 20 mins zone rather than a marked 2 hour zone is quite insane and foolish. I doubt she would have paid for my parking ticket if I had listened to her.
To the lady that treated me so rudely: you are a representation of your business/job. It is unacceptable to speak to people you do not know like that for any reason. Especially over a parking spot. Maybe file a proper complaint to the city about the 2 hr parking in front of yours and the other store front next you, rather than coming at the people that bring this town business.
You won’t solve your parking problem by shouting at us.

The owner, Mark, is a condescending piece of work. I have never encountered someone more rude, entitled, and obnoxious in my life. I would say I feel sorry for his wife, but it looks like from the other comments here that she's just as bad as he is. I love to support local businesses, but I'd rather drive to JC and pay UPS/FedEx than put even a penny in his pocket.

UPDATE: On your website, you clearly state that you sell packing supplies and boxes. That is what I came in to purchase. NOTHING RUDE ABOUT IT. I even wanted to pay you for the used box. You're now getting a 1 star based on your snarky response. And no, won't be coming back and will tell everyone I know not to give you any business.
Dropped in to simply purchase a packing box. The lady was able to find a used box for me (gave me free) but she could have have a lot more pleasant and courteous. She was borderline grump and rude. She is lacking customer service skills definitely or maybe just having a bad day?. What is odd is all the staff in the establishments around the courthouse area are always very pleasant, welcoming, etc.... my first time in and now.not sure if I'll return to Pack-n-Post after this somewhat poor experience. I drove down to UPS to mail it and their customer service was night and day compared to Pack-n-Post.

Had an amazing experience with Packet N Post. Super easy and helpful. To print the label is super easy just send it to her business email and they print out and put it on the box for just a $1. Will definitely come again. Everything is straight forward and quick to the business.

I DO NOT recommend this place for a few reasons. Although this location is closer, I will now ALWAYS drive further to drop off UPS packages.
First, their delay in shipping packages you drop off. We all know you can track packages with the tracking number. They do not scan them in on drop-off. And beyond that, it might be 2-3 days before you'll finally see it scanned in. That's a huge issue when someone on the other end is expecting a package by a certain time.
Second, the older lady is very unpleasant. I'm guessing she is the owner because she has been there 90% of the time over the years, but it seems like she absolutely does NOT want your business. I have seen a younger lady there who is nice, but the older woman is in charge.

May I ask your pickup days and times please?
Do you incorporate facial recognition in your store? Not sure how one would know if I had been there before as we use cash.

After reading negative reviews, we would like to leave our positive experience. We previously lived in Germany and Italy. We still needed a US mailing address but had sold our US home. Having visited lovely little Jonesborough multiple times and falling in love with it, we were delighted to find a mailing service located there through iPostal1. The service was always good, any small hiccup we did have was rectified in an efficient and friendly manner (I believe they were new to iPostal1 at that time). I don’t know her age but the “older” lady people refer to was always, always friendly, kind and helpful. I cannot speak to anyone else’s perceived experience but ours was always just great. We are going to need a mailing service again here very soon, so keep an eye out for our signup through iPostal1. Best, Brandon and Asher G

Absolutely the worst experience everytime you go in there. Anybody you ask can tell you the last is rude she has no intentions of helping you in any way. You better have everything you need ready and not have to ask any questions because she will not answer them. I have been here 3 times and it is the worst headache going in there everytime. I will not be back and I will be sure to make sure other people don’t either!

Avoid this place!!
I'm not sure what the ownership structure is but the lady working there has no intentions to be helpful. With the amount of packages laying around I would be very doubtful if anything I left there got where it was supposed to go. Half of the space is business and the other half looks like living quarters.
They do not accept UPS or Federal Express.
And when I walked in I stood around for 2 or 3 minutes before anyone ever came into the store she was apparently down the street.
The entire business space is approximately 10x10.
This is not a place to leave anything of value!!!
