We just spent our last thousand dollars at this Lowe’s.
We’re in the middle of a major renovation and have spent over $10,000 in this store in the past three months. We had planned to spend another $30,000—but that will now be going to the Home Depot in Winchester, where the service has been consistently excellent.
During the countless visits we’ve made to this Lowe’s, we’ve repeatedly experienced poor customer service. Employees regularly avoid eye contact, turn and walk the other way when they see us coming, and act inconvenienced when asked for help. On one recent visit, we couldn’t find a cart to load Sheetrock. The associate told us to look in the parking lot. When we came up empty, we eventually found all the carts piled up with inventory in the back of the store—and had to unload them ourselves. We asked for help loading materials, and by the time anyone showed up, we were nearly done on our own.
The only part of the experience that’s consistently positive is the cashiers—they’re friendly and professional. But unfortunately, that’s not enough to make up for the rest.
This store seems to operate with the attitude that customers have no other choice. But luckily, we do—and it’s only 10 minutes down the road to Home Depot.

Bought a bathroom faucet a couple years ago for a vanity with bowl on top lifetime warranty it started leaking in factory fitting took it back to Home Depot in scottsboro al. Had original box no receipt been a credit card holder for 10 years they couldn’t find where I had bought it so no refund or exchange so I guess your lifetime warranty is on receipt not on product you bought. Not to mention it’s a 45 minute drive to Home Depot I never have this problem at Lowe’s they just look up credit card purchases and resolve the issue. So Lowe’s gets all my business from now on.

We went in to buy block and 1 x 3 boards. However, when shopped at very same store as online, the prices were not the same. I was overcharged over 30.00 on the order so I decided to obtain supplies elsewhere. You would think the staff in larger building supplies would help women access boards in they are levels up. We were unable to get any real assistance in the lumber block area. The man at the register didn't even offer to call for help and showed no concern for the overcharge. I would buy what you can elsewhere rather than be overcharged and not really get help. I would not recommend this lowes location unless you cant find it elsewhere due to overcharging and poor customer service.

Recently went in for a washer and dryer and had the best customer experience probably ever. Ali, in the appliance department, literally went out of her way to help me! 5 star experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They have a great selection of pretty much everything. They can custom order a lot of things as well. Friendly cashiers and department employees.

Never had a problem in the store in Kimball. Steve in plumbing and Goldie in appliances have always been helpful and knowledgeable. However, I have had the worst experience ever trying to get some custom cabinets delivered. I was told it would take about two weeks. After three weeks, I began to inquire but could never get a definitive answer. First I was told they would be delivered to the store on the 15th (three weeks late). When the 15th came and went, I went to the store and was told it was direct delivery and the 15th was the date they were sent to the delivery company. A few more days passed so I stopped at the store again. This time I was told it was showing as delivered. When I told them it was not, the person spoke with someone else and said they were not delivered but someone would call me before they were delivered. A few more days passed with no call so I went to the store again. This time the asst manager called the cabinet supplier and confirmed that the cabinets had been delivered to the delivery company and they would be coming to the store. The delivery company hadn't recorded them in their system so they couldn't give me a delivery date, just an estimate for the 25th. The store called on the 24th to say that they had arrived but the earliest they could schedule a delivery was for the 29th. I got an automated call on the the 28th saying they would be delivered between 8:00 and 12:00 the next morning. Nothing was delivered by 12:00 so I had to call the store again and it took 15 minutes for them to tell me that they were on the truck but the truck hadn't left yet so delivery would be later in the day or possibly in the morning. So I had to hang around this afternoon and not make any plans for tomorrow until they finally arrived about an hour ago. In the future, I will not special order cabinets or anything requiring delivery from a supplier until Lowes can improve their supply chain process and systems.

I purchased a French door refrigerator from the store in Kimball Tennessee, to cover everything I ask the sales person what all they did when they delivered it. She said they would set everything up hook up my water line and I would have to do nothing. They delivered the fridge but did not hook up line. They said they do not hook up lines. They were going to have to splice into the kitchen sink line and they do not do that. The sales person at lowes was aware they had to splice into my water line and she said that was no problem. So I contacted lowes one of the managers said they would send their contractors out to fix it, I told them no one would be home till after 2pm. They show up at 1:30 and leave. I contacted lowes the next day the manager and asked what the deal was. I told him that Noone would be home till after 2pm. He proceeded to get an attitude and got smart saying that it's not his problem. So you tell a man one thing and then it's not his problem anymore? So. I just told them to come get the fridge or I will bring it back and I will take my business elsewhere. So they are coming back to pick up the fridge. Instead of sending someone out to run the line they would rather come get the fridge. Oh well their loss not mine. I will not buy anymore appliances from this company. They are rude, they do not know how to treat customers or talk to them. Even if they offered to come hook it up I would still send it back. It's about priorities now. I hope all lowes stores are not like the one in Kimball.
