Two stars because it is close to the hotel I've been staying at for 6 months. I bought 28.73 in products and all I had was a $100 bill and they ask if I had anything smaller and I did it was a one dollar bill. It was three employees behind the register and one got into a safe or storage place and got 5 $20 bills and the other employee was say only this time and made different comments to let me know they won't cash a $100 bill for me again. When the cashier opened her til, she had 50', $20 , '10 and all that was said, " I need to make a drop". That was my last trip to that store until tonight when we took our dogs for a walk and my roommate stopped to get a monster coffee at 8:50 pm. Mind you this store closes at 9:00 for some reason, but my roommate went it and I was checking a window sign but when I entered the store what greeting did I get? You need to hurry we are closed I didn't say a word, I turned and walked out of the store and waited for my my other party to come out. While I was out there, three other people was headed in and I told them they are closed . Dollar general grew so fast and opened stores everywhere that They can not get quality employees that know the meaning of customer service. Dollar general needs to start an employee training course that starts with customer service and having the proper attitude or work in the stock room

Front end was extremely rude it was like we as customers were an inconvenience to him. He basically threw our BREAD in the bag and then threw it on the checkout counter.

The clerk rebecca was very rude towards me treated me like I was a thief even though I shop here all the time. But I will never spend another dime there!

Let me ask you a question. Given the fact everything in this store is overpriced, would you or your family buy anything from this store, if you knew you could find the same item significantly cheaper at somewhere like Walmart? Here's a good example. I looked at the cereal isle. One of the cereals (I'm having trouble remembering which one), wasn't even a family sized box and it was more expensive then a family sized box at Walmart. Above all else, if you are claustrophobic, you REALLY don't want to come here. This entire store feels incredibly cramped. It's like they didn't have the necessary space to fit all of their wares in a comfortable way, so they just moved everything super close to each other. When I went here today on 10/8/23 (If you're a staff member reading this, I was the guy dressed up like Vegeta from the Dragon Ball Z series) I saw very few customers in the store. And when you take everything I just stated into consideration, I can understand why. I'm not sure why stores think that overly inflating prices will get people to buy from them. The only time anyone would ever buy an item at such a high price is if they're desperate and NEED the convenience. Then again, good luck competing with Walmart. I find it super Ironic this place is called "Dollar General." More like "Charge You Top Dollar General."

Always closes 8-5 minutes early. I realize that They don't want someone to come in right before closing to do a bunch of shopping but if you have a one item last minute pick up like me wanting my coffee creamer before breakfast in the morning what it took me a whole 2 minutes to get in and out but hey they were closed at 9:53!I even looked at them and like hey I still got like four more minutes but you know Guess they got home early good for them but this isn't the first time it's happened at this specific location

This store on website says it's open till 11 but when I went there tonight got there at 9pm and it was already closed on the door it says they close at 9pm everyday so if ur going here or any of the others keep in mind it closes at 9pm not 11pm that's all and I love shopping at these stores there are some great deals here as well

This location is never stocked well compared to other Dollar Generals in the area. Love the staff but the store is the red headed step child of Kingsport Dollar Generals.

On stone drive, a good variety of goods, they need to hire some help stood in line 25 minutes only one register open. No one came to help.
