Do NOT go to this store. EVER. Sure they have lots of good furniture at good prices, but whatever you do, DO NOT let them try to fit your purchases into your vehicle if you don't have a truck. On 11/19/22 at 2:17 PM, I stopped by this store to purchase a massage chair for my office set up. It cost me $109.50. I have a standard sized car. It's a KIA that fits 4 people. My car did not have the space to fit this massage chair. So they try to fit it in my trunk. They had trouble doing that and had to strap it down so it could safely be transported home. In the process of doing that, they straight up BROKE the hatch to my trunk. It wasn't until I got the massage chair home and got it out that I realized my trunk would no longer shut. You have no IDEA what I had to go through to get it fixed... When I was at home, I had to use a CEMENT BLOCK to keep the trunk shut because it was raining on a few days. After WEEKS of having to deal with this inconvience because of this stores incompancy I finally went to the KIA Dealership on 12/8/22 to get it repaired... Because of them, I was saddled with a bill of $216.06 for repairs/labor and a new hatch. This does NOT include the $45 I spent to get a rental car, or what it cost to fill up the tank before returning. Prior to this, I went back to this store to try to get them to fix the hatch because this was THEIR FAULT. Not only could they NOT repair it, they also tried to play it off like breaking my hatch wasn't their fault. So not only did I pay over $100 for the chair, but I ended up paying for effectively DOUBLE for the repairs to my car. I WILL NOT take this lying down. This business WILL accept responsiblity for their actions by footing this massive bill or I WILL press charges. Until then, enjoy this bad review on this business. I want everyone to know what this business did to me. If this company wants to foot the bill in full, I would be happy to review this negative review. But until then, this reviews stays.

What a sham this place has become! Do a little research before you donate the this place! Find out where you money actually goes. This was at one time a great place to support when it was at 5 points. Money hungry 501c3 is all it has become. Sad!

They ask way too much for most donated items. $10 for a small glass bottle is ridiculous. They are getting just as bad as the Salvation Army in Kingsport now. Please go back to the good reasonable deals like you used to have. Staff are friendly and the store is always neat and well organized. Also I don’t understand why the store would get closed down if they offer shopping carts to their shoppers. I was told this by an employee that works there when I asked to use one of their carts they use to put out their inventory. If goodwill and Salvation Army can supply carts then why not the habitat?

This place use to be great. Prices were fair but now they think it’s Walmart. Some of the items are priced above the retail prices for very used stuff. I know the reason behind the store but I still just cannot see paying the crazy amounts they are asking. When I asked if a price was firm the gentleman was very rude and stated it is what it says. Makes me sad since this was one of my favorite scavenging locations.

Are you kidding me?!?! With these prices, you can just about go buy it brand new. DONATED furniture and the prices are ridiculous! Dresser and matching nightstands...$600. $400 for the dresser and the nightstands are $100 each. Scratches like crazy and again, DONATED! Couch, $200 matching loveseat $100. Another couch or oversized loveseat is $300. It's a shame.

Friendly workers, different deals from week to week, and they will work with price within reason. My favorite store to pick up paint, certain electronics and niche items you probably won't find anywhere else. I highly recommend.

Highest prices I have ever seen at a thrift store. $12.00 for a used generic mug! I can imagine their business would be so much better with different management.

Can usually find reasonably priced treasures here. I buy games a lot here for my church classroom. Beware about buying furniture. We bought a cute little clean looking couch and a week later, bed bugs ???
