BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This Home Depot fails to provide itemized receipts on Anderson Window purchases!!!!!! They have deceitful window purchases practices by failing to provide this even when asked. They lie that they can not tell you how much each window costs or that they have no idea how to calculate the cost of the total amount!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DECEIPTFUL business practice!!! Also they gloss over the warranty telling you that they will send it but they really don't want you to read it!!!!! Just about every other windiw store has a better warranty ..... that's"s why!!!! If you ever have a problem with the warranty you will run into an issue.....the need for an itemized receipt and they FAIL to be transparent and to provide one e ever even after going to the corporate level!!!! That person who sold me the windows is a big liar when he says he can't tell me how the bill was calculated!!!!! What a snake!!!!

From there website..Should you decide a professional installation from a licensed contractor is the way to go, rest assured knowing The Home Depot stands behind all installation work to make sure the project is completed on time the right way. All independent contractors carry the appropriate licenses and insurance for their areas and undergo thorough screening and background checks before they become a contractor affiliated with The Home Depot.We stand behind their work and provide at minimum a one-year service warranty on all installations. When we choose a specialty or general contractor for your installation, you're in good hands.So sit back and enjoy the process. You'll like seeing the progress made during the installation and revel in the finished product all the while knowing that The Home Depot is there to make sure you get a great installation experience and are a happy customer.So here's my story.I requested a privacy fence installation quote from Home Depot in Kingsport TN back in the end of April 2021. A salesman for Brookview Renovations (Chris Elliott) contacted me and was very responsive with me in getting the quote out to me once he reviewed the property. I discussed with the Chris Elliot on a installation date in Mid June, (6 weeks out) so I could be onsite for the installation. He said it shouldn't an issue. Once the contract was signed and the payment went thru to Home Depot, Everything went quiet. I live in Michigan and took time off from work to be there for the installation of the privacy fence at my second home in Mid June as discussed. I called and left messages with no response, I contacted the manager at the Home Depot store and it turned out that the materials were delayed till mid July (Not Home Depots fault). But no one from BROOKVIEW RENOVATION returned my calls about the materials being delayed so it was a wasted trip down. By mid July the installer from BROOKVIEW RENOVATION called me with 48 hours notice that they had the materials and were scheduling the installation date in 2 days (I was unable to make it since I was already scheduled to work during the installation days). Since I couldn't get the time off from work, I tried to work with the installer via phone calls and text messages. In the end They ended up installing the privacy fencing in a HOA sanitary sewer easement area of the property. The fence installation is clearly in the protected area. I had already supplied Chris Elliot (Salesman) with the approved HOA plan and the sent the installer a copy of the property land survey that clearly showed the protected area). The privacy fence is approximately a 1.5 ft off the property line (Stakes were still in property corners from the survey). The protected easement is 7.5 feet. The plan I gave them was already approved by my HOA so there was no reason to change it. Since they changed the layout they didn't install all the fencing Roughly 9 ft less at a cost of $40.00 a foot. I have reached out to the contractor multiple times with no response. I have talked to the Home Depot store manager and it seems the store is very hands off with the installation process so you are on your own to deal with the contractor they provide you with. Hopefully this will help others who are looking to have a installation job done. I strongly suggest not using the Home Depot for your installation job.I also called Corporate and all they would do is forward my call to the local store that I purchased the job thru.The fence itself is beautiful. To bad the Installers business is so terrible to deal with. I only wanted the job done right! - Troy G.

I need help with a tiny craft project that need very tiny LED lights. I wasn't sure if I had connected it correctly. As I entered the store I immediately ran into Russ, who was available and took the time to show me what was wrong. Wow! What a super great person! I joined Yelp just so I could post this review. Fabulous customer service!!!

I would like to thank both Brian and Cindy at the Kingsport Home Depot. We bought a grill and within 20 minutes of purchasing it, it was lost on the highway. We brought it to the store and Brian went out of his way to call and see if anything could be done. The next day, he called me back and had me come to the store where Cindy took care of everything. Our grill is now like new. Thank you both so much!

It appears that Home Depot delivery contractors can't get their act together! My wife ordered a Husky Tool Cabinet for my birthday only to have Non-Stop Delivery Company to "lose" it after receiving it at their facility in Blountville TN. (Employee must had REALLY liked it and took it home.. It has never been found since!!).. So she ordered a second one, received confirmation of delivery date, etc., now May 29, Southern Freight doesn't want to deliver it because they can't get their tractor trailer into the subdivision!.. Why sell a product, customer pays for shipping, only to have a delivery service asking the customer to meet them somewhere convenient ???

Customer service is awful at this store. I've been to shop at this Home Depot before leaving happy with my visits. Today was not the case. One of the employees said he would assist me with my purchase as soon as he was done with his current task. When he was done he looked at me and left the isle There went 10 minutes of my standing there waiting and 30 plus minutes in the store. I will no longer consider Home Depot as reliable and take my business to Lowe's in the future.

I went to buy a garden tiller, online it said they had 5 in stock. I get there and they couldn't find the tillers. The young man who had been looking for about 30 minutes for them said to call at 5:00 to see if they had located them. I called and they told me they had found them. I went back the next day to get one and guess what? They lied to me and hadn't found the tillers! I wasted two trips there. I will not shop that store again.

Thanksgiving of 2018 my spouse and I visited the Home Depot store in Kingsport, TN, seeking an estimate on the cost to finish out an 1100-square-foot space in our future TN home. The pro account sales associate handling the contracting said he would send us an estimate. We gave him our contact information and never received a reply. Disappointing.

We bought a toilet and the man that waited on us was extremely nice. The man that helped load it was very nice he waited with me while my husband went and got the truck. My husband is a talker and while he was talking to one of his friends this young man stood there and we had a real nice conversation. I don't know this young mans name but he told me something his grandmother had said to him which was very wise. To this young man thank you so much for your patience. Thanks home depot for having such nice employees.

I would like to thank Home Depot and the staff!! I was very pleased with there customer service Friday 11/23/2018. I got in line very early for a Christmas gift but unfortunately not soon enough but because of there customer service I chose to still stand in line and go in and shop. They served everyone that was in line coffee, hot chocolate and donuts. They also handed out hot hands to help keep you warm and played games. That to me is excellent customer service.The staff braved the cold with there customers. Good job Home Depot staff. I will definitely be a returning customer. How many companies did this for there customers?

Four girls in customer service doing absolutely nothing while only one check out was open with a long line. They have several self serve check outs and they were also closed. Why make it so hard for me to give you my money?
