The Salvation Army in Kingsport, Tennessee is a well-maintained and clean facility that provides much-needed assistance to the local community. The staff is described as friendly and helpful, ensuring that everyone who comes through the doors gets a full belly. The organization is praised for its efforts to support low-income individuals and those in need. However, there are some concerning reports of mistreatment by a specific staff member, Dyana, who is accused of verbally and emotionally abusing residents, including a disabled veteran. The reviews allege that Dyana yells at and belittles the residents, even the mentally ill, and that she claims to be untouchable due to her close relationship with the supervisor, Lisa. This behavior is described as inhumane and unacceptable, and there are calls for immediate corrective action. Despite these issues, the overall sentiment towards the Salvation Army is positive. Residents and visitors appreciate the quick and efficient service, and the organization is seen as a valuable resource for those facing difficult circumstances. The reviews suggest that the Salvation Army is doing important work, but that improvements are needed to ensure the respectful treatment of all individuals who seek their assistance.
The only complaint I have is that online and when you call them, they're automated things says that they open at 9, this used to be the case. But at some point , they decided to start opening at nine thirty. They really need to change this online So people don't pull up and then realize they're having to wait thirty minutes

The Salvation Army has a great mission statement and do a lot of good things in the Kingsport TN. area. Captain Radi is a fine leader and a great spokesperson for the SA. Support them when you can.
