Update: the manager verbally accosted me while I was trying to find money in my vehicle. I had to tell her 5 times "I do not feel safe, and because of how you treated me I am fearful of exiting my vehicle. This person said "I came out here to help you" and then offered me a dog treat. I said "my dog is fed, I don't need a treat, nor do I want it from YOU"
She said "I'm just trying to help" to which I replied: if you want me to leave and want help, put $1 on pump 9.
Instead of getting breakfast, I got .45 in gas and was told I need to leave. Luckily, a sherriff helped me get a little more gas and now I'm at Scotchman, where they treated me with dignity.
I do business with shell multiple times a day across the entire South for work, never any issues. My experience this morning at 4: 35am at this involved the morning manager. I came in for breakfast after having scraped through change and trying to figure out how to pay for things without a wallet as I lost it a few days back. Typically, I've been able to pay through the app, last night, I had issues but no one was willing to help me within the store. I am certain it is due to my heavily tattooed appearance and out-of-state plates.
The 50 something year old first shift manager was present during changeover. I did not wear face covering or head covering, am I identifiable, and have nowhere to hide anything but this person decided it was necessary before 5:00 a.m. to come to the aisle where I was holding two small sticks of beef jerky and look at me as though I had already stolen something. I am currently sitting in my car at roadrunner next to CVS pharmacy in Kingsport. I will be taking this complaint all the way that it is possible because the amount of discrimination I just experienced for being queer and tattooed before sunrise is completely unacceptable, especially now.

We where stuck here for so long i lost count because our card got stuck and the workers didnt even try to help we asked again and lexi tried to help us and was really kind dont go to pump 5 it was the one that messed up and lexi said that it has like 3 times

If you want to be treated like trash then feel free to stop here. This store has one of the worst managers I have ever met. I witnessed her belittling her employees and bad mouthing the customers. Her customer service skills are very below average and I don't think she knows how to actually act like a civilized human being. If you decide to work here or ship here be on the watch for Dee.

Friendly staff. This is one of the few gas stations with 110 octane leaded fuel. Gives your vehicle quite the boost it needs if you got a high compression ratio. Clean bathrooms and nice variety of convenience store items

Great selection of cold and hot snacks. Love being able to fill my truck up and get a Dunkin Coffee while I wait, and they have diesel.
