Had run out of cornbread. The past two times they were out of it too. Was not asked if I wanted it replaced. Ended up home with a burger without bacon I paid extra for and toast instead of cornbread.

I have been going to sloopys all my life. I hadn't been in couple years. And first time back was the worst I have ever had . Lady that took my order told me "to change my order because she didn't like the item I had picked" which is my favorite item. Then the same lady didn't make my boss drink and left his food at a empty table and never came back to give him his food. It was embarrassing after I had talked it up after being a long time customer. Sadly I believe that will be my last..

I love little out of the local places like Sloopys. Sometimes, you can find absolute gems. Sadly, this was not the case. I will say i loved the diner's atmosphere. It was a little slice of classic Americana. The french fries were the highlight. Golden and crispy with seasoned salt (I love seasoned salt on fries). The "Sloopy" burger was not very good. The veggies (lettuce, tomato, onion) were very fresh. The bun was adequate. The meat was horrible. It was a very noticeable frozen meat slurry patty. Just had a horrible taste and texture of a dish sponge. The "trashy" tater tots were a letdown as well. My son could not eat them. I tried them and agreed they were inedible.Maybe other things on the menu are better, but if you name a burger after the restaurant, it should be the best thing on the menu.

What you would expect from a little local diner. A bit over priced for what we got, but they make their own chili and it is better than most. overall, better than I expected it to be. so close to 3 stars on the food but everything is frozen and not fresh. for the price $32 for 2 burgers, chili cheese fries and drinks. It's worth a visit

Been a while since visiting, and I think the food has changed. They used to have great hamburgers, but the meat does not seem to be fresh. The chili on the kids dog was too spicy, however, they graciously fixed a new one without. Meh...

I came back to edit this review from a 4 to a 5 star. Lately I have been going to other places that serve hamburgers and fries and they may be good, but Sloopy's has one of the best cheeseburgers around and for a decent price. Try that new chicken restaurants burger and fries that just moved to memorial Blvd. and let me know the difference. Sloopy's has crinkle cut fries and all of the food is worth trying. The manager is beyond awesome and very helpful. Give it a try. Service is a 5, food is a 5 and atmosphere is also a 5.Parking: Parking is good. Easy in and out.

I love Sloopy’s. I have ordered to go and everything was hot, fresh and delicious. We got the 8 Oz Sloopy cheeseburger, a Jalapeño Cheese burger and both were delicious. The burgers are seasoned well and the buns are good and don’t fall apart. We’ve also had the corn dog. My son had one and he loved it. It’s mostly dog and the breading isn’t too thick. I just can’t wait for the beans and cornbread! The drive thru is convenient too! The servers/owners are so friendly and welcoming. Inside the restaurant the decor is simple yet charming; it’s like stepping back in to a 60’s diner. The only negative I experienced is that the lemonade and tea (Arnold Palmer) was super sweet. Their onion rings and fries were delicious too. I highly recommend Sloopy’s.
