They have tons of rentals available to use. Trying to drop off was a pain, as only one person was available to help. And they were assisting other customers.

If Madison is the one helping you RUN she told 2 bold face lies to Uhaul upper management and they stood by her maybe it's because she is the general managers daughter I came and picked up a car hauler for a Chevy truck I knew it was an extended cab truck and thought this would be no issue l had seen the truck several times before I came to get the car hauler When I arrived to pick up the car hauler I gave all the information that was asked of me.
Year make and model. I was never asked about the cab When I get to the truck and we try to load it on it doesn't fit When I called Uhaul I got the run around and they preceded to avoid me because the general manager was on vacation for 2 weeks (ended up being 3 weeks) during that time the assistant manager which is Madison, which is Kelly the general manager's daughter sent Uhaul a note on my dispute saying not to reopen because she had 2 witnesses saying I said it was a standard cab truck. This is a lie I have pictures on aug 8th showing truck. (Rented hauler on 10th) if I was asked the cab style I would've said extended now she is telling lies on me to keep my hard earned money are these the would've said extended. These the kind of people you want to do business with. Do not trust these people with your elderly or kids they will do whatever they can to keep money they don't deserve. First picture is aug 8th

Uhaul. I've used you guys for years I genuinely like Uhaul and think they help a lot of people this is a prime example of a couple apples making the whole bushel look bad. **update** sep 5th after Uhaul said could have a refund the GM Kelly overturned it and said because I pulled it off the lot I couldn’t have a refund and basically she believed her own daughter over me which I totally understand sure your gonna believe your daughter over a complete stranger this is why you shouldn’t have children working for parents. She is obviously scared to tell her mother the truth she knows she didn’t ask me shame on you Madison you know your lying to keep me from a refund terrible customer service I will refer everyone I can to Penske from now on

Wish I could give zero. Not only did they order the wrong part for my car when I called multiple times to confirm everything, they placed locks in the chains connecting my car to the trailer and gave us the wrong keys. So here we are in Oregon now being unable to get the trailer off of my car because of their incompetency. Absolutely save your sanity and go to Johnson City or any other Uhaul facility.

The man who helped my fiancé was very nice but truly should NOT be allowed to handle money. We had to rent a truck and asked to come back hours later due to being handed the wrong change and had to drive all the way back to fix THEIR mistake. The Manager who called either Kelly or Madison was EXTREMELY RUDE about the situation even tho we had intentions of correcting the problem. Definitely don’t recommend a business that places fault on customers for their own mistakes. I’ve heard of this happening to atleast 3 other people in my Area and it’s truly ridiculous to know they have gotten away with this more than once! Don’t give these people your time or money, definitely isn’t worth the “customer service “.

Robert helped us and he was absolutely the best. The customer service experience was five stars. I live in Knoxville- but work in Kingsport on occasion and I will come back to this location because of Robert.

This is the second time that I have rented a large storage unit from this facility. The first time everything went well. This last time, I had to move out due to a bunch of my antique furniture, getting warped from all of the humidity and heat caused by the air conditioning, not working. When I asked For some type of compensation off Of my storage unit while the AC was not working, and they told me they could not. I moved out immediately. They made way too much money off of me already. The only thing that I can highly recommend anyone, is that you only rent a truck from here and not a storage unit. You’re going to pay way too much, and at the end, your stuff will be ruined like mine. It’s really upsetting and will unfortunately not be using them again myself.

Terrible experience, will NEVER be back here. I called about a pickup and was told $268 total price for the rental. I drove 40 minutes to the store, told the man at the counter my reservation for the truck, got ready to pay and the total was $711. Wasted an hour and twenty minutes of my day thanks to these fine people.

Horrible experience!! They charged me 2 weeks later! A damage I did not make! And they refused to show prove of it and denied me talking to their manager and also got charge for gas when I have prove of the gas millage even before I droved the truck!!!!

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews here. I've rented trucks and trailers from this location multiple times, and have always had good experiences. I just rented a trailer the other day, and everything went as expected. The equipment was ready when I arrived, everything was in good condition, and drop off was easy and convenient.

I had a hitch installed on my car last week, and afterwards my previously very quiet car made an awful noise. Lots of rattling and scraping. So so loud. I took it back within 10 minutes of the installation to see if it could be fixed, and was told that it would just rattle now. That was unacceptable for me, so my partner and I took it back a few days later. Unfortunately the hitch pro wasn't in that day, so we left our phone numbers to be called back the next day. We were never called, despite our own efforts to get in touch with a hitch pro multiple times afterwards.Finally, we got tired of getting the run-around in the Kingsport store and went to the Johnson City U-Haul store. They fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes and now my car is quiet again! No more rattling!
