To Aldi owners,
What has happened? The quality of some of the produce has been very bad lately. Twice I’ve bought potatoes and found most of them were rotten when I got home. The baby carrots I bought smelled and like an old cellar. The flavor of the carrots also had that old aftertaste.
It’s like you’ve been keeping them in storage for much too long. The onions were also old and had to be used right away. I will not be having produce from there any more or at least for a long time.
I’ve purchased the chicken breasts one time and found them tough and stringy, but I’ve found that is the case with other brands of chicken also, except for Whole Foods’ chicken which is the best.
I’ve had excellent produce from Aldi in the past so this is a big disappointment.

I love shopping here. I can't find everything I need, but the mass majority I do. The prices are really good and I love finding different types of food that I do not see at other stores. It is a busy place most days, but they keep items stocked pretty well. Don't forget your quarter to get a shopping cart. I bought bags the first time I shopped there or you can bring your own bags. Also they usually have boxes you can put your bought items in.
