The driver was polite. My household goods were handled with care. The helpers put things where I requested. It would have been great to have a phone call so that I would have known earlier when my goods would arrive.

The agent was honest up front about the cost and encouraged us to get rid of some things to make the move cheaper. So we gave away a few hundred pounds of stuff and saved probably $1000. (His original estimate on the weight was a few hundred pounds over our final weight after trashing and giving away several carloads, so he was dead on to begin with.) They handled all items carefully; everything except one cheap, flimsy bookcase arrived without a scratch. (We're amazed that more of the particle-board furniture didn't have problems.) We're very glad we went with this company.

Don't bother with getting their extrainsurance as it pays nothing. $1500 to repair an item and the only approve $90.And I thought by going with Allied I thought they would be reputable.

I was very impressed with the care that was taken by the staff. My phone calls were always taken and my questions were answered in a kind and personal way. The team showed up on time when packing and delivering my things. I highly recommend Allied Van lines for your moving needs. I would rate them a 10 out of 10.

The whole move was smooth and professional; the crew and driver worked quickly to get everything packed and loaded. Communication from the first call to the final stage of delivery was excellent. I’m very pleased with the service provided by the company and by the driver, who directed the process at both locations.

Estimate for move was dead on, no surprises. Tracy was an exceptional person to deal with, very responsive, quick to return calls and keep us informed. Jason the driver was also excellent, would highly recommend Carey moving for your next move.

Great experience on the pickup end but fell a little short on the delivery end.A few items were lost and some items were taken apart, fasteners were not found when delivered. There were no additional helpers to assist the driver and his son unload the truck. They did a good job, it just took longer to unload.

Allied Van Lines did an excellent job handling our move across the country. Our items were delivered in a timely fashion and unloaded quickly and professionally. Highly recommended.

We were pleased with the pick up and delivery but there was insufficient communication about delivery dates. The range of dates for delivery was OK but I had to call several times to get specifics. It would have been better if the process of picking a delivery date within the window was better explained. As it was the delivery was one week later than promised. We liked the local estimator, the people who came to pack and pick up our furniture and the driver and his assistant who delivered. We plan to use your services again in November for another shipment and will get in touch with your office again soon.Regards;Shivram Murty

Allied moved me from Knoxville to Charlotte and stored my stuff while house was finishing. Both loading and unloading were fast and professional with courteous staff who knew how to properly move things. Much better than other movers I've used. All My Sons in Knoxville managed to break my plasma TV then said it was my fault. Go with the professionals at Allied. Worth the money to get it done properly.

PLEASE READ BEFORE USING ALLIED!!!!First off, I have moved domestically and internationally via professional moving services more than 5 times in the past decade, and have never had a worse experience. I would STRONGLY ADVOSE using anyone else, including doing the work yourself, as our experience ended up costing us much MUCH more than we paid for the service ($14,000 BTW...)First Major Issue: 22 Days LateWe had several quotes for full service moving (full packing, moving, unloading, and treadmill service). We chose Allied due to the fact that they had "availability" and could get us into our home 2 - 6 days after our load day. Giving us a month to get settled in before our planned summer vacation. Not only did our things take 30+ days to arrive, we had ZERO visibility to when they would arrive. We lived for 4 weeks on hard floors, air mattresses, dining out, and little entertainment for our kids (we have a 3 and 5 year old btw...). The delay also resulted in us cancelling out July 4th family vacation, as we only brought a weeks worth of items.2nd Major Issue: Many Items Never Showed Up!After half of our summer, and missed holiday were spent on hardwood floors and camping chairs our moving day arrived... We were sooo relieved. That was until the movers completed the unloading and we did not have any of our living room couches, our dining table, or our treadmill. So our floor living continues.... We are now 8 days past the unpack date, and still have no idea when these critical pieces of furniture will arrive. It turns our our couches were shipped to Michigan, and our other times never left Houston (our move was from Texas to Tennessee)... I have reached our via LinkedIn to Sr. Leadership who have been completely unresponsive, and all I can get out of the Customer Service group is that "they are working on it."3rd Major Issue: More damage than any other move in the pastI do understand that some damage can be done in transit, but we had about 10 boxes that look like they were left in the rain (mold growing on the inside) after sitting water logged in the Texas, or Tennessee, or Michigan heat for weeks and weeks. We are now asking that we be reimbursed for a UHAUL and gas, so that I can drive 10 hours to Michigan to pick up my own things... Otherwise, we are running the risk of not having seating or dinning furniture in place when family is scheduled to visit in August...YOU WILL LOSE OUT ON MONTHS OF YOUR LIFE, AND THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF $$$ IF YOU ARE MOVING ACROSS STATES WITH ALLIED.
