ZERO STARS but it said I had to do at least 1. This company showed up at 2 pm after I was told they'd be there between 8-10 am to pack my house. Limited communication as to the delay but I was told later by them, not their management, that they had a job before mine that took longer than they planned and that they didn't leave their warehouse til 1030 to go to it. The packers were extremely slow as was the "lead". My moving truck was scheduled thru Hildrup (company movers) and was set to arrive at 7am the next day. They had barely finished the first floor by 830 pm. Their management promised me 5 packers would be there the next morning at 7 am and my Hildrup driver would delay arriving but would bring in reinforcements to help. Next morning, at 7 am only 2 showed up from Armstrong and another one at 730am. The folks from Hildrup saved the day as they were the reason my packing got finished and truck loaded by shortly after noon.

Very upsetting and unacceptable experience. I paid $2,921.04 with promised Full Value Protection of up to $30,000.00. I paid at least $1300 more than what normal movers quoted to have full value protection because I have all like new things. They damaged my like new desk and brand new dresser. After submitting the claim, they sent a repairman to place filler into the dresser crack and dented desk top. The dresser drawer won't even close now and the whole structure is unstable at the base. I refused covering it up with filler because that's not acceptable and won't cover my loss and have waited for replacement for 3 months. Instead they sent a check for $250 ($50 for scratched stool and $200 for dresser). I paid $658.49 for the dresser just months prior to the move and hadn't even put clothing in it yet. Everything I own is meticulously kept. I have no pets, no children, no scratched things so I want what I had in it's condition prior to the move. The lead guy seemed to be doing drugs and brought his girlfriend as the "3rd" mover for delivery and she seemed to be doing drugs outside and was not able to lift anything. I asked for 3 people because I have a new piano and they only sent two guys. They sent a capable guy to help with the piano and then he left the two for the rest of my things (which resulted in damages). My new dresser is cracked at the base where the leg is and is no longer stable (drawer won't close and I can't use the whole set now with nightstands which was $1350). Filling this large crack would look terrible and would not make it stable for the life of it. They sent a document they created stating the desk was already damaged (that the legs were scratched) but sure there is a tiny tiny scratch on the top here and there that is from normal use and it's NOT the NEWLY caused deep and visible dent caused by the movers not covering the desk with anything. I watched them bring it into the home without a moving blanket and saw the new damage immediately and snapped a picture. I was promised protective covering for my things and they failed to cover my desk. I've included photos of my desk as it sits today and there are zero scratches etc., on the legs and feet still as the document states. I just want my dresser and desk covered back to their original condition especially since I paid for full coverage protection. $658.49 for my dresser (they paid $200), $50 for stool (they paid $50), and $446.83 for desk top replacement (they paid zero).

Armstrong in Knoxville has provided moving services for me and my company on more than one occasion. They have always performed in a professional, courteous manner in what is often a difficult situation. I would highly recommend.

I recently worked with Armstrong on a large (5-figure cost) corporate move for my company. It was, without a doubt, the single worst experience I have ever had with any service provider ever. We had many pieces of furniture broken, gouged, and scratched due to the careless and poorly-supervised staff. Some pieces we fixed, some we scrapped due to the extent of the damage. My view is that we were over-billed, due to the extremely inefficient, borderline lazy, staff. Armstrong disagreed and were paid in full. I will never again use, nor recommend, this company to anyone.

The driver and helpers were excellent! Early on time, took great care loading and unloading the contents of our home, set up everything, took away all debris! They were friendly and professional! If we ever move again I will definitely use Armstrong Relocation! Doug who set everything in motion was easy to work with and very pleasant, Megan in the office was also friendly and very easy to work with! Made our move much easier!! Thank you!!

Moving is always a colossal pain but Armstrong took as much of the sting out of our relocation as possible. From the moment of first contact through final delivery my confidence and trust only increased. No damage, timely load and delivery, good advice, honest, and they kept us informed about the whole process as it was taking place... but it was the loading and delivery crew that put this company over the top! All our boxes were labeled, they took good care of our houses as well as our belongings, and they took to the challenge of moving our massive amount of stuff with a combination of professionalism and a really pleasant disposition that put us all at ease! You can't go wrong with these guys!!

My boyfriend recently got out of the Navy and once his stuff got shipped to Knoxville, the Navy hired Armstrong Relocation to deliver his belongings to us. I cannot review this company highly enough. They called when they were 20 minutes out to give a warning they would be arriving soon, they put down floor protectors so our floor wouldn’t get scratched, and were SO gentle with our belongings to not damage them. DJ and Goody were amazing. I will absolutely be using these guys in the future. Thank you so much!

Does not ask if special is needed for moving the client and delays the moving process. They don't know what they are getting into before the acceptance of the move. They need to to their homework.

I moved into the passing lane in front of one of these moving trucks during heavy rush hour traffic - I'm sure he'd claim I cut him off, but I disagree - there was room for him, and trucks are prohibited from using that lane through all of Knoxville anyway - there are many signs. Even before I gave him the middle finger, he was freaking out, yelling at me, and honking over and over. I have to admit, at that point, flipping him the bird was not a great idea, but what ensued was completely unacceptable. He got out of the truck - with two other people still in the cab - and started yelling/gesturing at me, in the fast lane, in the middle of stop-and-go rush hour traffic. In trying to avoid further confrontation, I attempted to let him go ahead of me, but again, he tried to engage me. I moved behind him where I gave him plenty of space - and he finally left me alone. I absolutely take some blame here, but imagine one of these psychos moving your personal belongings, or approaching them about a mistake they made during a move. Yikes. NO THANK YOU. If you've read this far, I'll add that you shouldn't even bother calling their number. It just says thank you for calling, and doesn't go anywhere - this moving service reeks of shady

We were assigned to them for our military move. The crew was amazing. Young guys. They worked really hard and they were respectful of our items.
