Our experience with the Bed Store was far less that satisfactory to say the least. We spent over $7K for two top of the line Tempur-Pedic Twin XL Mattresses. The sales person was friendly and did have knowledge of the products we were considering which was helpful.The issues we had were more related to the sales rep NOT being up front, open and honest with information related to the overall transaction and what we were entitled to and were not entitled to. We were told initially that "if the mattress my wife was buying was not comfortable for her we could exchange it for another mattress".While this is TRUE what we were not told is:A: You only get (1) One ExchangeB: There is a $149 fee for the ExchangeC: You cannot Exchange it for a Mattress that cost Less than the original purchase.The other more impactful issue we had was we picked out another top of the line mattress and paid the newly announced $149 exchange fee. When they came out to deliver the new mattress and pick up the barley used one they said they could not do the exchange because the "Law Tag" had been taken off the bed and thrown away. Now this was the first time I had ever heard the term "Law Tag" in my life but was told by the sales person that he was confident that he had went over all that with my wife and I during the sale. It was also pointed out that this information was on the back of the sales receipt (in the fine print).I was told they have a picture of this tag from when they delivered it to our master bedroom. But The Bed Store claims its out of their hands and its the MFG's rule that if the Law Tag is removed the warranty and exchange polices are null and void. When I and my wife told the sales rep that were were not told anything about a Law Tag we were told "Yes you were Mr. Davis I know I told you that. I am good at my job and I always tell customers the same thing". SO The Bed Stores position is that they told me that I could not take the Law Tag off the $5K Mattress or my Exchange and Warranty would be void BUT I DID IT ANYWAY (nonsense). Who in their right mind would do that??To add to my dissatisfaction with both The Bed Store and Tempur-Pedic the supposedly irreplaceable Law Tag was a foot long piece of material stapled to a larger piece of card stock that was attached to the mattress with a 2 inch piece of fine ribbon that was very easily removed. Now if this data was so critical to the life of the mattress why is it not sewn into the cover of the mattress on the side or back. Why make is so easy to remove? So they can claim they have no return or warranty responsibility whatsoever. Slippery on the part of The Bed Store and Tempur-Pedic.The Bed Store did "Escalate the Issue to Tempur-Pedic" and was "Denied Approval" to exchange the bed for another mattress by the same parent company Sterns & Foster. Not like I was trying to take my $5K to another manufacturer.Bottom line. I have been in sales for over 30 years. It is the sales persons job if done correctly to educate their customer on the key aspects of the sale. Including not letting out the details of the exchange policy and fees associated with those policies trickle out over time after the customer made the initial purchase. That is deceptive behavior in my opinion because the sales rep did not want to loose a high end sale because we only were entitled to 1 Exchange or there was a fee associated with the exchange. That tells me all I need to know about the sales rep and The Bed Store. While they claim they have your best interest in a good nights sleep in mind their actions show that they ONLY care about making a SALE.My strong recommendation is SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE to purchase your Mattress. BOTTOM LINE.... I am stuck with a VERY expensive product that we cannot use.

Awesome bed, we absolutely love this orthopedic, pillow top king size mattress we bought, along with with much needed new box springs! This bed is especially ideal for people that need a " decent " mattress at a very good price. Kevin, was excellent with answering questions and he was polite, honest, and we highly recommend "The Bed Store."

We bought our mattress from the Bed Store. Kenny was great help, he had a lot of knowledge to share. The delivery men were wonderful and friendly. They protected our wood floors and set everything up for us in a short time. The whole experience was seamless!

Enjoyed my first mattress so much I bought another one for a different room. The mattress I bought, both times, was very expensive. It’s kinda a shocker, but I have to say it really is worth it. I could have saved a few hundred dollars and ended up not sleeping. Been down that road and it’s not fun. If you have any sleep issues, I believe that you must invest in a quality mattress. It’s literally for your health and well being.The company has provided great customer service. Kevin is great! Delivery guys were respectful and careful.

The Bed Store is awesome!! Kevin was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He went out of his way to ensure I had exactly what I needed when I needed it. I had a short time to move my elderly mother and needed a good mattress for her. The full size Nectar was not available in the Turkey Creek location, but that did not stop Kevin. He didn't even pause, he recruited a coworker to swing by another store to pickup the full size mattress on his way into work the next morning to make sure I had it the next evening. The timing was perfect and the mattress was exactly as he said, she loves it! Thank you for alleviating a stressful search for the best mattress for us!! ?

We had a great experience at the bed store. The staff are knowlegable and professional. The customer service can't be beat! We were helped by jimmy welch. He was very helpful in explaining the difference in the different mattresses. He also let us try different mattressesso we could make a decision on which one we wanted to purchase. Their prices are really reasonable!I recommend the bed store to everyone!! We are very happy with our new mattress and pillows!

We have purchased mattresses several times from The Bed Store. They take the time to find out what mattress is best for you and there is no pressure to buy a certainone. Their delivery process is very efficient also. Highly recommend them.

Love our new mattress and most of all our new adjustable bed frame with zero gravity option. So relaxing and enjoy getting into bed every night. Doug was super helpful. Highly recommend shopping here and we shopped many other places. Great customer service!

I must have visited or called every mattress store in Knoxville. I research everything ad nauseam - like months.I can't thank Jimmy and Kenny enough.I initially met Kenny who was really helpful and knowledgable. He spent a lot of time with me, even though I was up front about a relatively low budget and my admission that I was really just looking at that point. I spoke to him and waited for the President's day sale almost a month later and he remembered me, which was impressive.Jimmy was equally helpful and worked with me, giving me a lot of his time to get the right mattress that was within my budget. He also remembered me, which is pretty impressive.I can't recommend them enough or thank them enough. Due the sale and their help, I was able to purchase a much better mattress.Whether you have unlimited funds or are on a budget, they do not treat you any differently, and I appreciated that.If you're looking for a mattress and honest advice, this is the place to go!

Tommy Fincher was extremely helpful. When we came into the store we weren’t sure what we wanted. He took time to ask questions and let my wife and I take time checking out beds in the showroom. He was not pushy at all. He helped me make sure my spine was aligned while lying down. He made sure our needs as a couple were met. Gave us a great deal too! Go see Tommy in Maryville!

Was told at time of purchase that a referral that also purchases a mattress I would receive a gift card. Well, they informed me that my referral had previously bought in 2007 and that I didn't qualify. That is incorrect as she never purchased before and told them her phone number was recycled and was a previous person. They agreed with her at the time of sale now apparently they don't. They have now lost atleast three customers because of the shady way of doing business. I do not recommend this store since they have zero interest in doing what they say. She also for over a month has waited for her adjustable bed frame and still no delivery date. Extremely poor customer service after the sale.

My fiancé and I stopped in the bed store in turkey creek to look for him a new mattress and bedframe. Jimmy was our salesman . He was very professional and helpful with everything. He made sure our bed was delivered promptly. He also gave us an upgrade because they didn’t have the frame that we wanted initially. A few weeks later, I went to the bed store to pick up a pillow and Doug the salesman that was in the store that day was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I bought a bedframe for my bed and I’m looking forward to it being delivered soon. I highly recommend the bed store. See Jimmy and Doug for a very nice experience. I had purchased a bed and frame fr mattress firm back during memorial day. They said it would be delivered in a week. They called the day before and said it was damaged and it would be another week. It was delayed another two weeks then another month. We called mattress firm several times to ask what the issue was and the first thing out of the managers mouth was asking if we want to cancel our order. I walked into the Bed Store and got they got me the exact same mattress I wanted, beat the price, and had it to my house in 4 days. I will always go to the Bed Store from here on out. Amazing service!!!
